This Gretsch Catalina Club Mod Shell Pack sets the stage for the modern player with tonal and visual distinction. Its mahogany shells pump out rich low end tones, with smooth mids, and are finished in a beautiful black silver fade. Characterized by its bold looks and thunderous sound, the Club Mod is a killer drum set for modern clubs.

This drum shell pack includes a 22" x 18" bass drum, a 12" x 8" rack tom, 14" x 12" and 16" x 14" floor toms, and a 6" x 13" snare drum. Cymbals and hardware not included.

It features Gretsch's GTS suspension system, which allows the rack tom to vibrate freely to maximize tone. The batter head of the bass drum is pre-muffled to control excessive overtones. Also, Evans G1 coated heads come standard with the Gretsch Club Mod kit, so these drum sound excellent right out of the box. The black hoops and lugs compliment this flashy drum finish.

NEW REVIEW - just got it

i was in the market for a new kit now that im in a new band playing drums and i wanted to upgrade on a budget. the two best bangs for my buck seemed to be this one and the pdp m5. thus far i do not regret my choice. the mahogany holds up nicely compared to maple shells. a very nice alternative if you cant afford a decent maple kit. the bass drum is absolutly booming without the tom mount in the top of it. and since the rack tom is free floating it resonates very nicely. havnt had a lot of experience with the kit yet but ill get back on here and update this when i learn more about it. thats why i gave it a three. im not sure yet but it looks very promising. came with a minor cosmetic flaw that had to the manufacturers fault so im going to see what i can do about that. good kit though. im extremely picky so if youre not so much go ahead and buy it. definitely worth the money. cant go wrong with gretch.
