Just what my Epiphone LP needed!!

from Stratford, NJ

Comments about Graph Tech RESOMAX NVS Harmonic Bridge for 6mm Posts:

My little project Epiphone Special II (only the body is left from the original guitar)was really kicking major butt in the tone department after all of my upgrades. Adding the GraphTech TUSQ nut was the biggest contribution to the resonance, acoustic tone, and sustain of the guitar. It really made a huge difference, especially to the way it felt. I didn't think it could really improve very much. Then I got the GraphTech NVS and installed it. WOW!! I have to tell you, if you have ever installed a quality nut in replacement of a plastic or fake bone nut then you know how important it is to have a QUALITY SURFACE as the zero-point of the string's stretch along the guitar. The difference between the NVS and the original cheap bridge is night and day. You can feel it as soon as you take it out of the packaging. Light for it's look and size and beautifully chrome-plated and shiny. There are 3 different saddle surface choices within the GT ResoMax family of bridges and you have to pick what works best for you. I chose the NVS here which uses the ULF formula on the saddles to facilitate more fluid string movement. My TUSQ nut and ResoMax NVS bridge now combine to allow this once garbage guitar to ring true, fat, resonant and long sustaining notes better than any Custom Shop model. No guitar builder on Earth is using this high quality of a product on their guitars. When you turn the saddle screws to intonate the bridge, the feel of them is unreal. This thing is so well built. It is almost impossible to overturn the screws because the threading is so intricately minute that it can get extremely precise positioning. Incredible product, and the magnetic catch on it is genius. It won't fall off or wiggle when re-stringing. I have put so much time and energy into modifying this guitar, and honestly, now, it was all worth it. The one time dud Epi Special II now flaunts GraphTech NVS bridge and TUSQ nut, Belden wiring, Bourns pots, Sprague capacitors, Switchcraft switch and jack, Warmoth Pro Custom neck w/ SS frets, and soon, Grover Tuners. It has become my weapon of choice. Some companies just make quality and GraphTech is one for sure. Amazing buy!
