Overview

This GHOST ResoMax NV Bridge for 4mm Posts assembly lets you access MIDI and acoustic capability with your favorite electric guitar. This bridge is loaded with acoustic pickups that work with the Hexpander, or the Acousti-Phonic.

Pickup saddles and Bridge Assemblies are different for every type of guitar, so they are always ordered separately from the ghost modules.

The ResoMax bridge is a Tune-O-Matic style bridge made of super-light weight alloy, to increase harmonic content in every note. Less mass means greater vibration at a greater range of frequencies, so the sound of your guitar body -- your sound -- really comes through in the mix. This increase in harmonic content will be heard not only in the ghost pickups, but in your mags as well.

Simply replace your Tune-O-Matic style bridge with the ghost ResoMax bridge assembly, and plug into the ghost modular pickup system. This bridge has post spacing of 74mm. It comes with posts, but in most instances you can slip the bridge onto your existing posts for an easy installation.
Custom-Engineered Piezo Saddles

ResoMax NV saddles are made with custom-engineered piezo crystals specifically designed for use with guitar and bass.. Installed in the String Saver saddles, this combination allows the most authentic acoustic sound possible. These saddles are corrosion resistant and sweat will not short them out.

AutoLock
Exclusive to the ResoMax System, the AutoLock locking feature magnetically secures your bridge at all times without tools to use or lose, making restringing simple and quick.

Increases Harmonic Content
With the lightweight ResoMax alloy bridge, you will hear each note dripping in tone and harmonics. The lighter weight bridge will allow the natural sound of the guitar to shine through.

Lightweight Bridge
The ResoMax NV ghost loaded bridges are made with a lightweight alloy that boosts harmonic content which allows the natural sound of the guitar to shine through.
Triple Plated Finish
Triple plated Chrome, Gold, Nickel and Black Nickel finishes for years of durability and good looks. Now your guitar will play its best look it best.

Comments about Graph Tech GHOST ResoMax NV Bridge for 4mm Posts:

I was debating a Fishman Powerbridge vs. the Graphtech Resomax Ghost. The Resomax bridge is much lighter. The single wire Fishman is a much easier install, but the Ghost system allows easy saddle replacement should one fail in the future (so far I've only read of saddle failures for the LR Baggs bridge). I have installed Powerbridges on two previous guitars. Both were passive installations running the Powerbridge to the ring connection of a stereo jack. Using a Zoom pedal to equalize and add "room" reverb, or using a Fishamn Aura pedal, I was able to get a very usable acoustic sound suitable for avoiding a second (acoustic) guitar for pit band gigs. I thought the Ghost system might be lighter and easier to maintain so I wanted to give it a try. Since it came with no instructions, and the URL for the installation instructions is a bit obscure, I did not read them until it arrived (my bad). They very clearly recommend against a passive installation, though they do tell you how they want you to do it, which is essential identical to the Powerbridge circuit. BTW, I did not bother with on-guitar volume control for my Powerbridge installations (as such it only modifies the output jack of your guitar and leaves the instrument pretty close to stock).
