Excellent Product. Had one of the stock machine knobs literally just fall off in my hand on my Schecter Diamond Series. Straight out of the Box the Gotoh Tuners were ready to rock and far superior. Great Product
I bought this for a new guitar I purchased. I replace all my tuners on all my guitars with locking tuners as I hate changing strings and these make it so much faster and easier to change strings. These tuners install as easily as any others I've ever bought and I would have no problem ordering them again for a future guitar.
These are great looking & working tuners just make sure if you have a lefty neck upside down you DON'T get the right handed locking type cuz they will not work correctly ! The locking piece will un-tighten as you tune up ! Now I need regular non-locking tuners so they'll work right on my custom Strat ! Otherwise GREAT ! My mistake :(
I think I'm very happy with these tuners. I've put them on one of my vintage Yamaha FG200's, which I love and have 3. These tuners have a locking mechanism, which was difficult, for me, to get working, and hence the uncertainty. It's just one of them, the top E, which causes problems, perhaps the thinness of that string is causing the locking mechanism to slip. I'll update this review in a few weeks (if I am able to).
