Gorilla Tips Fingertip Protectors are a handy tool for guitarists that hate the pain in their fingertips after playing for hours, that have trouble developing callouses or even beginners who haven't been playing long enough to develop them. These provide protection and comfort without sacrificing your finger's natural feel on the fretboard.

These worked much better than I expected when I received them. I did not think they would help much because they are not very thick. I was gladly mistaken. I am able to play for hours. Yes, my fingertips get warm in them but the tips did not slide off. The warmth was a minor annoyance. I do not notice them (other than being able to play with out pain) - in reading the other reviews - I'd say make sure you get the correct size. They are thin and are in my experience, no way bulky nor do they get in the way. I have had these for just over a month and they are still holding up well, still looking and feeling new after ample use.
These tips do what the manufacture claims they would do; less pain so you can practice longer. But you can't practice longer, your finger tips start to sweat and they slide off. Clumsy. Russell
sure it numbs the fingertips and you can now play.. but you get so frustrated at the inconvenience they have now become that you dont want to play.. its annoying.. bulky.. hard to get your fingers where you want them .. just build up your calluses.. just have to start off with a few more breaks than usual but in a week of an hour play,, an hour off rotation you will have a nice callus started and be playing at a rock stars pace in no time
Tried them and was not too impressed with their usefulness. They do protect the finger tips but I found them difficult to play with. They are somewhat bulky and difficult to move from string to string. Your best bet is to build up fingertip calluses over a few days of playing. While I feel they did not work best for me, they are at a cheap reasonable price and if you have fingertip issues try them and see if they work for you. I would make the tips a little harder, that may make them easier to work the strings with.
