The Multiac Grand Concert Duet Ambiance nylon-string acoustic-electric guitar features state- of-the-art custom electronics by Fishman, allowing the player to blend the sound of the undersaddle transducer with 4 individual virtual microphone models.
You can choose among the 4 blendable sound imaging mics via a 4-way selector switch. Mic models include the Danish Pro Audio Small- Diaphragm Condenser Mic, Soundelux E47 Large- Diaphragm Condenser Mic, and the Schoeps CMC64G Small-Diaphragm Condenser Mic at both close-mic position and at a distance of 16".
Similarly to other Multiac Grand Concert models, the Godin guitar's design unites a large mahogany body with a solid cedar top and a neck that joins the body at the twelfth fret. The 2" width at the nut is slightly larger than the standard Multiac and more typical of the classical tradition. The result is an impressive guitar for classical players that require superb, custom amplified sound.
All of the Multiac Duet nylon-string guitars include a very flexible and sophisticated output section. The 1/4" (standard) output will work with a regular guitar cord.
Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options. Includes gig bag.

This guitar was actually my first and i have to say that it is my first love and i'll still pull it out by the bon fire it has a great sound and can keep in tune the body shape fits me just like a glove its hard to find guitars with craftmanship like that these days i recommend it for those who are just starting and those that have been playin for years.
A solid unit, easily interfaced to synth units - works especially well the Roland gutiar synth's. Neck feels good & is very playable/well compensated plays in tune) up & down the neck. Has a nice (though quiet) tone even unplugged - could be played quitely for practice. Guitar is heavy with all the the electronics & battery, etc. but sits well on the knee. Worth it - especially if you can score a blem at discount...
I never thought an Acoustic like this would be anything but once I started playing with it, it was different and with a new sound that I've never heard before... it was beautiful. I would would totally buy this once I get the money.
What can you say about Godin, except for they build exceptional quality guitars that offer tremendous value for the money. True, pro-quality guitars made in Canada. If you haven't played one yet, do so. I think you'll be impressed!
well what can i say, went to an outside event and one of the members of the band was playing his heart out with guitar. the acoustics was incredible, clear crisp sound and the action ron the guitar was easily controlled. i would recommend this product to the advanced player
If you are a classical player and have been looking for the perfect practice and gigging nylon acoustic-electric, then this Godin is your answer. In terms of practicing, the pickup/mic system allows for the use of a four way selection and EQ to provide the perfect headphone balance through a small practice amp, so you don't irritate your wife or neighbor. It's the natural tone that the electronics provide that is what makes this guitar perfect for practice and performance. I have compared my other full bodied nylon acoustic electrics and their pick-ups can't even come close to the performance the Godin delivers. So save yourself the trouble and go with the Godin, it's perfect for performance and practice
The Godin Multiac Grand Concert Duet Ambience nylon guitar is my favorite guitar for playing live Acoustics songs. For me this guitars with a larger body and the neck joint at the 12 fret it feels more like a typical classical guitar. The custom electronics by Fishman allows the player to select between 4 individual mic settings. Choose between these blendable sound imaging mics via the 4-way selector switch. With the Mahogany chambered body, Ebony Fretboard and Solid Cedar Top it give you a warn tone with lots of resonances. The fishman is not sterile like others, with 4 settings you got what you need. It's perfect for any live, studio or practicing sessions. I highly recommend the Godin Multiac Grand Concert Duet Ambience for the serious Nylon player.
