Overview

This combination of fast synth tracking and a tremolo system makes for incredible sonic power and delivers it in a very user-friendly, eye-pleasing package. Exquisitely playable with surprising resonance and a vibrant natural tone, the LGXT pairs an ergocut mahogany neck with a sleek and smooth ebony fingerboard and a silverleaf maple body topped by AAA-grade figured maple. The LGXT has dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers--a Jazz II in the neck position and a Duncan-modified Custom Custom in the bridge position; a Godin exclusive. The custom RMC X-Bridge fires the piezo transducer output and the excellent synth-tracking system.

Includes a gig bag.

Comments about Godin LGXT AAA Flamed Maple Top Electric Guitar:

This is an excellent guitar. Extremely versatile. I have this connected through a Roland GR-55 and hooked up to a Line 6 Amplifi, Line 6 Spider Jam, and a Marshall AS50D (acoustic line). Comes with a gig bag, however, for $99 you can order a hard case for the guitar. There is NOTHING this guitar can't do. Also, the acoustic setup is fantastic. Sounds as good as my Taylor. This is an excellent axe for live gigs due to the versatility of it. The family is going to have to bury me with this. Stays in tune....FOREVER!!!

Comments about Godin LGXT AAA Flamed Maple Top Electric Guitar:

I looked for a long time for a new guitar that offers what this one offers. The LGXT had all the right stuff. The pickups are great! They are full of tone and mixed with the acoustic pickup, the guitar has such an amazing full sound. The finish and design are a work of art. Synth access and tracking is much better than the GK pickup offers. My one and only gripe, well 2 gripes ... for the money spent on this guitar, Godin needs to ship it in a hard shell case! Also, the strap buttons installed are for strap locks, but the strap lock parts aren't included. My Strat came with these, a hard case, cable, a leather strap and even a Fender bumper sticker. Hence the 4 stars. Yes, we musicians like the case candy Godin!
