This 3-voice guitar features electric and acoustic guitar sounds, plus the infinite tonal possibilities created by synth access. It has a gorgeous mahogany body with a AA-grade figured maple top. The mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard that significantly improves synth tracking as compared to a rosewood fretboard. The custom RMC system provides acoustic guitar sounds from a bridge transducer, while Seymour Duncan custom humbuckers drive the electric tone. Synth access comes courtesy of the 13-pin connector for direct control of Roland GR Series and Axon AX100 guitar synths. Acoustic and electric outputs can be used alone or in tandem to further expand the tonal array.

I have never owned such an exquisite instrument. The neck is a dream, the sounds are fantastic, it's light and thin and the finish is beautiful. Synth tracking is superior and you can mis three tones right on the guitar. Outstanding!
This guitar is the future arrived now . Workmanship is superb , as good as it gets of a commercially made instrument for the masses .
Sexy as it gets too - mine is the Cognac series model .
Sound covers so much territory , Jazz - Blues - Rock-A-Anythang -Country Western and into the stratosphere with it's synthesizer power . The acoustic side is very decent .
Plays so easily a fast neck right out of the case action is low and fast .
No real tracking issues at all on the midi side once set up correctly with my Roland GR33 , I purchased them both new at the same time .
Reaction from the musicians I play with is all positive . When I want Rock-A-Billy , I get it and I get it good ! When I start playing string arrangements as background fill , it does it super dooper . Great single coil Strat and humbucker LP sounds , the best of both worlds . Add a little acoustic piezo sound to the mix and I have a really authentic Telecaster sound .
Most people ( who are not really knowledgeable on Godin's ) don't know much about this guitar and react accordingly in astonishment to it not being a Fender - Gibson - PRS or any of the other more popular names in the industry but to musicians it's a well know " DARK HORSE " :).
You can not go wrong on this one price wise - quality wise and sound wise , this guitar truly falls under the category of " Too Good To Be True " because it is a fantastic guitar bar none .
Godin makes exceptional guitars. This one is a masterpiece. It has a thick sound of a Les Paul, with all the bells and whistles of a Parker Fly. Great guitar!
