The 'Slim' in this Godin ACS-SA nylon string guitar's moniker refers to the 1.715" neck width at the nut—a mere 16th of an inch wider than Godin's standard electric guitar nut width. If you do most of your playing on a guitar with a fairly narrow neck (such as most solidbody electric guitars) this is the ACS-SA guitar for you. The slim neck of the Godin ACS-SA Slim guitar along with the Ergocut shaping technique and 16" fingerboard radius provide for a very easy transition for steel string guitar players looking to integrate nylon string guitar sounds into their music. Aside from the new neck, the ACS-SA Slim shares all of the same features that have made the Godin ACS-SA nylon string guitar an industry standard. The chambered, silverleaf maple body with cedar top results in a guitar that is virtually free of feedback, making it easy to use even in loud stage situations. Synth access comes courtesy of the 13-pin connector for direct control of Roland GR Series and Axon AX100 guitar synths.

I've been playing guitar for over 20 years and of all the guitars I've owned this is by far my favorite. I love the way it sounds, each string comes through the amp clearly and well defined and with the eq you can really change the tone. The neck is easy to play and lends itself to being creative and moving around the neck in ways that I hadn't before.
It doesn't project though unless you have it going through an amp.
I highly recommend this guitar.
I bought this guitar three days ago because of two reasons. One, I've read about it for quite awhile and knew it was probably the one I had been looking for with the the perfect neck for a classical, and two, I was tired of trying to adjust the pickup on the Roland GR-20. I never could get all of the strings to come through and this guitar does it perfectly! Built in synth adadability. I play a PRS Santana, original Fender Telecoustic, and an Ibanez, but this is my all around go to guitar now. It was worth the money. My only question is, what does the switch do?
I emailed the Guitar Center about an unbelievable offer someone else was making. I asked if we could negotiate the price since I was really wrestling whether I should "take the plunge". After a couple of emails, Guitar Center not only negotiated, but matched the price! I picked up the guitar today nervous that: there'd be no gig bag- but there was, or that there'd be some kind of "cosmetic flaw" or some other issue, but there's not as far as I can see.I have spent hours playing this instrument and I'm absolutely in love with this guitar. The sound and playability immediately inspires innovation and since I'm into jazzy alternate tunings- it's perfect. You have not only earned my continued business but my trust that you've got my back in making music. I genuinely can't thank you enough.
