This Godin A5 bass features endless sonic possibilities brought to you by Custom Godin electronics. The acoustic-electric bass comes equipped with individual saddle transducers at the bridge and a 13-pin connector for direct control of Roland GR Series and Axon AX100 guitar synths.
The 5-string Godin bass features a solid spruce top, for balanced sound reproduction. The silver leaf maple body adds strength and clarity to the instrument's sound. The rock maple neck adds plenty of sustain and definition from note to note. The soft C neck, cutaway on the upper bout, and 16" radius add comfort for intricate progressions.
Incredible acoustic bass sounds are available through the Godin bass's 1/4" output jack and controlling your tone is made easy with the custom Godin preamp section voiced specifically for the A5 SA bass. The 2-chambered body design found in all of the A-Series instruments is also at work in the Godin A5 acoustic-electric bass. This design resists feedback as well as the negative effects that loud stage levels can have on top vibration. The Lace Sensor low profile bridge pickup and side-mounted tone and volume controls reproduce and amplify your bass sound with natural-sounding clarity and dynamics.
Dressed in a semi gloss finish and featuring black hardware, this 5-string Godin bass has the natural look and feel of an acoustic bass, with a bold amplified sound that will blow you away.

Godin A5 Ultra Natural SA 5-String Acoustic-Electric Bass Guitar
The Godin Guitar Co. warrants this instrument with regards to materials and workmanship for a period of ONE year from the date of original purchase to the original purchaser. The instrument shall be purchased only from an Authorized Godin dealer. Should the product require service, The Godin Guitar Co. will repair or replace the product free of charge during the warranty period. This warranty shall include all parts and labour. If service is required, contact your Authorized Godin dealer at which point it will be determined whether the guitar can be serviced locally, or should be returned to the factory. All return freight and insurance charges will be paid by the customer.
The following are not covered by the Godin warranty:
- Any instrument upon which the Serial number has been altered in any way. Any instrument that has been damaged due to misuse, neglect, or accident.
- Normal wear and tear including machine heads, worn frets, saddles and nuts.
Strings and batteries.
- Any instrument that has been subjected to extreme changes in temperature or humidity.
- Cracking or discoloration to the finish.
The Godin Guitar Co. assumes no liability for any loss of income, dissatisfaction, or damages arising from the loss of use of this product due to defects or availability of the product during service.
