The Gibson Warren Haynes 1961 ES-335 pays tribute to this artist's achievements, while capturing the best of the iconic early "Dot Neck" ES-335 in a guitar that both players and collectors alike will want to make their own. From its gently worn Vintage Cherry VOS finish to the light patina of its nickel hardware, this vintage-spec ES-335 totally looks the part. Thanks to select tonewoods, period-correct construction and BurstBucker 1 & 2 PAF recreations, it sounds and feels like one too.

The original ES-335 was virtually an overnight success up its release in 1958. By 1961 (the last year of the "Dot Necks") it was recognized as one of the most versatile electic guitars available anywhere, adept at everythimg from blues, to jazz, to rock, to country.

The Warren Haynes 1961 ES-335 employs the original semi-hollowbody construction for depth and resonance and solid maple center block to aid sustain and combat feedback, From its correct "Micky Mouse-ears" body shape, to the comfortable feel of its correct early-'60s neck profile, it's a guitar that will inspire you to make music too, whatever genre you play.

One of the best FEEL and SOUNDING guitars I've played...PERIOD!

from Florida

Comments about Gibson Warren Haynes 1961 ES-335:

I hopefully will be lucky enough to own this masterpiece of a guitar in the near future, but I did play this guitar many times at my local GC. The first thing i noticed when i started playing it was the neck!! MY GAWWWDDDD! The best feeling neck Ive ever played with a guitar (fender, gibson, ibanez...) The neck that this guitar has is not a specific neck like 50s round neck or 60s slim tapper is a no name custom neck that ONLY THIS GUITAR HAS!! No other guitar has it. Is it similar to another neck? YES! If i had to say this neck is closest to 60s slim tapper necks. This makes sense because this is a recreation of Warren Haynes 1961 ES 335. Honestly i could talk about this neck forever but I'm gonna stop here. Go try it yourself. Next in line, the PICKUPS (Custom BurstBuckers 1 & 2). These pickups sound AMAZING with the semi hollowbody!! It has the right amount of "bite" for lead playing and for cleans Jazz and Blues all day everyday! And what really makes this guitar cool is that the chrome hardware is "brushed". So it has a faded chrome look. VERY VINTAGE. And of course all the other features are amazing that just add to this amazing guitar. Rosewood fretboard looks stunning, the body is very comfortable, easy access to the upper register of the fretboard. The Vintage Kluson tuners have great tuning stability (for gibsons), and the color is SO CLASSIC and CLASSY for a 335. I'd seriously recommend this to any player who wants a high quality, comfortable, and amazing sounding guitar!! Little pricey but TOTALLY worth it! Exceeded my expectations by a mile!! Happy shopping! hahaha
