This is the an amazing bass. I started off with a squier starter pack and after playing for a year moved up to this bass and it is a world of improvement. This bass has a great heavy sound and is great for any style of playing. It is a beautiful bass with the cherry finish and chrome hardware and I love it. This will be the best bass you ever buy!
This baby is a metal machine and it can take a beating. Its got a good fat tone and unbeatable playablity. The only other bass than can compare to this is an ibanez. I would definatly suggest this bass for anybody who is serious with playing.
This is by far the best sounding bass i own. If it were stolen or busted, i'd definately buy another, no question. I extensively played both the Gibson and Epi T Bird, among many other basses, and if your on a budget buy the Epi. For a fraction of the cost it sounds just about as good. The main difference i noticed with the Epi and Gibson, was just that the gibson seemed a little bit better build, but they sounded almost exactly alike.
Ive been playin bass for six years. I started with an Epiphone Tunderbird IV, then moved up to an Ibanez SR500, then rented a cusome Smith bass. Last month I purchased the Gibson Thunderbird IV Studio Bass! Out of maybe thirty guitars ive played on this is absolutely the best by a huge margian. Just being a bass player you are familiar with the sad fact that basses are very expensive, however this top-end bass is only a 1 grand which is a great price for concert worthy components. I would recommend this bass to anyone! Get this one and its the last one you will ever buy!
