The Gibson CQM-CE Grand Concert acoustic-electric guitar from the Songmaker series is made from solid quilted maple and sports features such as Gibson's traditional scalloped bracing, double acting truss rods, a premium Sitka spruce top, and a Fishman Prefix Pro Blend pickup.
The CQM-CE Acoustic Electric features a J-45 headstock, the rosette of the SJ-200, the pickguard from the Blues King, and the bridge from the Woody Guthrie Southern Jumbo. Gibson blended these timeless features in a comfortable grand concert body with a solid quilted maple back and sides and a resonant solid spruce top, resulting in a Gibson guitar perfect for precision fingerpicking and powerful strumming.
Other significant appointments include a solid mahogany, 25-1/2-inch scale neck with an ebony fingerboard, rosewood or white boltaron binding, genuine mother of pearl dot inlays, chrome hardware, TUSQ saddles, nuts, and bridge pins. The headstock and peghead carry the Gibson logo in silk-screened gold letters. In addition, every Songmaker Series acoustic comes with its own standard hard shell guitar case from Gibson Acoustic.
