The J-200 Jr. Montana Rose is designed to intergrate all the features of its cousin, the SJ-200, but in a parlor-sized body. The slim taper neck allows for ease in playability. Superb solid quilt maple is appointed for the ribs and back coupled with solid Sitka spruce for the top. This December edition is finished in a rare Montana rose color allowing the quilt maple to shine.
This limited edition Gibson guitar has a dovetail neck-to-body joint, hand-fitted and secured with hide glue ensures unequalled resonance transfer from strings to body, and a radiused body for projection and clarity. Its special nitrocellulose lacquer finish will allow the tone of the Jr. Montana Rose to mature with age. It has also been upgraded with an L.R. Baggs Element VTC.
