I bought this strap probably 5 or more years ago, and it is still holding up today. There are no signs of aging other than the lighting bolt has worn out quite a bit and so has the Gibson logo on the end of the strap, but the ends are still in good consition and so is the strap itself. I have had no probalems with this strap, and it does it's job well. After it gets worn in, it looks about as awesomely vintage as it gets. I reccomend this strap to anyone that uses straps. Why spend more on a leather strap that isn't any better than this one? They both hold your guitar up just the same!
I personally like this strap because it is almost identical to the strap Ace Frehley used while he was an active member of KISS. The lightning rocks.
For the money this is a good strap! However, i must say the one thing that brings it down is what makes it diffrent, the lightning it's self. In my opinion it just looks corny. Its good for jaming with your freinds but it will not look good on a serious musician on stage. Still high quallity construction though.
This strap looks really cool holding up your guitar, and is used by guitarists such as Rivers Cuomo from Weezer and Rudolph Schenker. It's cushioned well so it wont hurt your shoulder and it doesnt move around your shirt like some straps tend to do. All together, its a very nice strap to get.
