Overview

Featuring the modern look and fast feel of the Les Paul double-cutaway body, the Les Paul Standard Double Cut Plus Electric Guitar is a true tone factory and a speed demon. The 490R alnico magnet humbucker at the neck and 498T humbucker at the bridge provide a huge, chunky sonic palette that'll take you from L.A. to Nashville to Chicago. The rosewood fingerboard has a full 24-fret reach and a silky, tight feel that's both fast and accessible. The carved figured maple top is sensually shaped and fairly glows, set off by the perfectly polished hardware. Mahogany back and neck, with tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece.

Simply Amazing!

By Guitarman111

I have played guitar for twenty four years and just recently purchased my first Les Paul, the double cut. I have owned and played many many guitars and this is by far the smoothest playing guitar I have experienced. This is mainly due to the 60's style neck. You simply can't get a smoother, faster, better feeling neck. The pickups nice and chunky sounding. I have owned and played other humbucker guitars (Ibanez, Schecter), but have primarily used single coils, ala Fender. These pups definitely have a much fuller sound than a single coil. In short, this guitar has become my main axe, and at many shows, my ONLY axe. Simply Amazing!

amazing sleeper

I got one of these a couple of months ago and I can't put the thing down! I've always been a fender player but I must admit this is one beautiful piece. well worth the money. I play this through a fender hot rod deville with 4 tens and the sound is incredible. I really don't understand why I don't see more players using this guitar. maybe it's a well kept secret.
