The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck is an electric guitar that is famous for its sustain. The feel and sound of the original '60s Les Paul comes from a slim '60s neck design with a smaller peghead, push-in-bushing green tuning keys, and nickel hardware. BurstBucker Pro pickups feature Alnico V magnets like those used in the P-90s from the '50s. One coil has more wraps than the other, as did most '50s and early '60s "Patent Applied For"s. These waxed, double-potted pickups deliver a tighter, balanced, biting tone with more midrange. Mahogany body and neck with maple top and rosewood fretboard. Includes Gibson hardshell case.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:
I must say It's unspeakably Cool. It's ebony with the 60's neck.I figured From punk to a wedding reception this is a perfect guitar. This is the true standard that all solid bodies are judged from.I bought a PRS CE-22 Indago only a week ago and traded it in for the standard. the alnico V magnets in the burstbucker pro's give it a sweet violin like quality to the tone.I'm playing thru a TSL100 it is a perfect rig all around. this guitar begs to be played thru an all tube amp.I know some of you don't have the cash for such stuff. But if you are serious about your sound do yourself the favor and save till you can own a guitar like this. You will love yourself for it.
