The Porche of Guitars

By Gnrman666

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

The Gibson Les Paul 60's neck may be the best guitar on the market as of now. Nothing Compares to Gibsons Craftmanship. The Price might be a little hugh, but indeed is worth it. This guitar, if taken care of properly could last an entire Musical carrer and then some. This guitar is soemthing all professional guitarists should own. les pauls are used in every genre of music. from metal to country, from emo to blues-based rock, it can do it all. buy it today, you will not be sorry.

Worth every penny

By Hendrix Is God

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

I have played with a lot of guitar players. I am currently studying modes and theory from one teacher, jazz from another, and I have another teacher that plugged me into his Plexi and said, "Tell me you can play now!". All these guys are great players, but all use 50 guitars. I will admit that I do have 50 guitars, but I always end up back at my Les Paul. I love Hendrix and Page and this guitar does both. Buy this guitar and don't complain about the price. We are not talking about some Chinese made guitar, this is made in the USA and is worth double what they sell it for.

I just got mine in the Labor Day sale and man is it awesome. It produces warm tones and really bites when you want it to. The slim 60's neck fits perfectly in your hand. I got the heritage cherry sunburst and boy is it beautiful. Buy one!!!

BUY IT NOW!

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

I just bought this amazing instrument and I was blown away by everything. I have it in desert burst and it looks great. The tone quality was insane when I plugged this baby into a 65 watt crate amp. It has no pickup buzz or anything like that whatsoever. It screams metal and pours out the clean tones for blues. It is expensive, but it's all worth it when you realize just how great a gibson play. Worth every penny. Buy it now!

Play a Legend !!!

By Kidterry

from Central North Carolina

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

I own this guitar because of the playability, sound and feel it gives me. Although it may feel a bit heavy as compared to a strat, SOUND is where this guitar takes you! If you want a big fat sound from your amp, get one of these before they're all gone...fat is where it's at! Also, my Grandfather played an old Gibson, so there's some sentimental value here too...

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

Ever since I put my hands on this amazing guitar I fell in love with it. Before I got this bad boy I was playing a strat. There is a big difference in feel and tone. I think thr LP is better. ITs good for any king of music. You should only play this on a good amp or you wont get the full sound to its max.

Smokin' Hot Les Paul!

By Mastershredder

from Phillipsburg, NJ

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar about 2 years ago and I still love it. Even though I play metal, there has been no urge to swap the pickups with emg's or sd's as I have with my Gibson Les Paul Custom. The playability is second to no other guitar I have ever played in my honest opinion. THe action is flawless and the cherry sunburst really is a beautiful finish that gleams when played on stage. Also the tuners are high quality as I have never had any issues with staying in tune.

The real deal.

By GuitarMoses

from San Francisco,CA

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

The Les Paul is the greatest guitar ever made for Rock 'n Blues. Although pricey, you can't argue over getting the real deal. This baby has a '60s slim taper neck and delivers the fattest sound with the two Burstbucker pickups. You really can't ask for anymore. If you want Slash tone just swap out the pickups for two Seymour Duncan Alnico II's and get a Marshall amp then you are ready to go.

Great guitar

By John74

from Columbia, MD.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

This is an awesome guitar. No questions asked. Plays well, incredible sound, wide range of sound with the three way switch and tone controls. Sounds great if you have it plugged up into a LINE 6 POD as I do. Only problem I have with this guitar is that it scratches easily and they tend to show up more on a wood grain guitar than they would with a single color guitar.

A very good and worthwhile guitarf

By Nick

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

I recently went to my local guitar center for I was looking for a new guitar to replace my mexican strat. Well I tried a sg 61 reissue, erick johnson strat, stevie ray strat, and a deluxe strat. This one blows all of them away except the sg where they are pretty equal. Well with the all mahogany body you get a full warm sound. It has two knobs foir each humbucker. Well to get to the point appearance is stunning, neck is slim and fast, and to the sound. This has a really good angus young abd jimmy page. If you like rock and blues you found the riggt guitar.

Top of Line for Serious Amateur and Pros Alike

By Nsureit

from Dallas, TX

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

The Les Paul Classi 60's redux has a great look, even better sound...the uncovered pickups and electronics underneath make this an essential instrument for the discretionary ear. Not for the weak at heart (and it's tough on the wallet). Yet, if you are serious about pure, "classic" Gibson, it's a must have. Instrument's a little heavy, but craftsmanship is impeccable.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

How can you argue against this guitar? If you?re looking at this page then you know the specs. Buy it go home plug it in to any brand amp, loose the effects pedals, and you will hear the pinnacle of true guitar tone! Not many fiddles live to the hype that surrounds them. If this one didn?t then it wouldn?t say LES PAUL on the headstock!

Awesome Guitar

By Chessfreak926

from Hot Springs, VA

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

The Gibson Les Paul 60's Neck Guitar is the epitome of classic! Pick one up, plug it in, and prepare to be amazed. No matter how clean or distorted you like your playing to be, this Les Paul delivers in a way that only a Gibson Les Paul possibly can! I played this guitar and instantly fell in love with it! The price is the only drawback. For what you pay for the guitar, I wish it had a nicer maple top and back or something else along those lines. I still, however, recommend this to everybody in the market for an electric guitar in this price range.

One of the best guitars EVER!!!

By Shrdr1089

from Frisco,TX

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

This guitar (Gibson Les Paul Standard 60's Neck) is the BOMB!!! It is the greatest thing ever. One reason to love it is that it has the look, feel, and sound of the 60's all in one package. The mahogany/ alder body so dang BEAUTIFUL. The sound has the legendary sound that everybody loves. Another reason to buy it is that it was made in the timew of Black Sabbath (in the beggining of the band) and Led Zeppalin. This guitar is the best thing you'll ever be able to get, and the price here is way better than any other place. So buy it, I guarantee you'll like it!!!

Gibson Les Paul Standard

By AJR

from Denver,co

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

First off, I'd like to say that Les Pauls are awesome guitars. They sound great, feel great, and not to mention they look great! This certain guitar has a 60's neck which means smaller peghead, green tuning keys and nikel hardware. It also has 2 pickups (Type 1 and Type 2.) It also has a mahogany body and neck, the fretboard is maple top and rosewood. I've actually played this istrument in the store it has an awesome sound and feel to it. I would reccomend this guitar to anyone wants to hear a new raw sound. -AJR_

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

Man this is one of the most incredible axes I've ever played HANDS DOWN. The guitar possesses absolutely no flaws and is a breeze going from fret to fret. I just recently played this at a local club with my band and may I just announce that I felt like Slash up there! The guitar is just a little too pricey for my taste yet I nearly forgot about it once I plugged this baby into my Marshall amp! Overall, two thumbs up, this Les Paul is obviously Gibson's signurature and will hopefully remain that way for a long time. I hope Im buried with this.

Les Paul

By bassman87

from Miami, FL

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

Obviously, this guitar is a classic. I love this thing. It plays so smoothly, and it sounds amazing. Definitely the best Gibson available. The standard represents what a Les Paul can do very well. You can get any tone with this baby, and it's perfect for any style of music. Oh, and don't forget about the amazing finishes it is available in. This guitar is not only one of the best sounding, but best looking too. To sum it up, it's worth the cash - get it.

Studio or standard?

By Tyler bridges

from Charleston,SC

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck Electric Guitar:

The gibson les paul standard is a great guitar. The price is what gets me it is expensive The Gibson studio is about 1000 dollars cheaper and it is lighter than the standard and very hard to tell the sound difference If I were you go with the studio.
