Comments about Gibson Les Paul Special Pro EX Electric Guitar:

Are you kidding? A Gibson Les Paul model for under $1,000? The thing that struck me the most was the combination of the smooth binding on the fretboard, the slim neck, and the nitrocellulose finish -- all make for a guitar that to me is more playable than the expensive Les Paul models.
The option of switching to a single coil sound is great for playing live when you have songs in the set that normally require a guitar change.

    Five Star Guitar

    By C.G.

    from Nashville,Tn.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Special Pro EX Electric Guitar:

I went with the Honey Burst model, It arrived in new and perfect condition. The finish was absolutely beautiful....fretwork is glass smooth and flawless. The only thing needed after a couple of minor set up adjustments were a set of 10s and I was ready to plug in.
Split Coil produces awesome tone, Of course It's Light in weight compared to my LP Standard but still has that same solid feel. The specifications state that it has a 60s SlimTaper neck, However this one has more of a 59 size neck which I prefer, Whatever style neck , it's rounder and a bit beefier then the 60s slim tapered on my LP Standard, and I like it!. Owned this ax for six months and Loving it so much I have returned to playing everyday since.

    Beautiful Guitar

    By kendog

    from Portland Oregon

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Special Pro EX Electric Guitar:

I'm just an advanced beginner but when I saw this for sale on a Daily Pick where it was not much more than the EPI I was considering, I pulled the trigger. The pictures don't do this justice, it's really a stunning guitar. I've never owned a LP before as I've only strummed on my old American TELE but I'm glad I made the purchase. My wife who actually is a professional musician says the guitar is beautiful with a deep rich tone and has mentioned she thought I got a great deal. Contrary to what I heard about LP's the guitar is no heavier than my TELE and has a nice thin neck. It's nothing fancy like the other LP's but in a way reminds me of my TELE, just a nice piece of wood with a sweet tone. I think even at full price this guitar is a good buy and I highly recommend.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Special Pro EX Electric Guitar:

This guitar is killer !! The Burstbucker p/u's with coil split are amazing, it is light as a feather and plays like a dream. I got this for a super low price on a one day special but it is worth every penny of the regular price. The only thing I didn't like was the look with no pickguard so I added one and now she is beautiful too !!

Very nice guitar, especially for the price.

        By MyStarryEyes

        from Burbank, CA.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Special Pro EX Electric Guitar:

Great aesthetics, great sound, and good quality build, just needs a few minor tweaks with the set up.
Other than that, a very nice guitar, for an awesomely cheap 'Daily Pick' price, which was almost half of the regular retail price. What a bargain!
