This is a nice guitar. It is very easy to play and was set up with no buzz or intonation problems from factory. A caution warning. The shipping box is in-adaquet to protect the guitar, mine had a minor ding on th top edge. If I had it to do over I would purchase the hard case and specify it to be shipped inside of the case. I love playing this guitar. It is used on a crate CA6110D accoustic amp with single 10" speaker. The amp has many special effects that I have played the guitar with. Nice tone as expected. Previous posted complaints about the ragged frets did not effect me. The fret ends will smooth out with use anyway although I have had no problem with mine. One thing I noticed with mine is that on the nut cover plate mine is a "Junior", not shown in ad. I guess it makes no difference as it is a great guitar. I previously owned a semi hollow body Epiphone Sheraton and also own an Epiphone Accoustic Sheraton. Loved the electric sheraton but gave it to my Grand Son. The finish of THIS guitar is not up to the same standards of the two Epiphones but it is a good guitar that you don't have to worry about. I love it as is. It is also easier to handle being a smaller body than the others. All in all I recommend this guitar. If you want a better finish and all spend more money for a carved top model.
This guitar is amazing. I am 14 and I wanted a les paul ever since i started playing so I saved up and eventually I couldn't wait anymore and bought this one instead of the 1500 dollar one I wanted and boy am I glad that I don't have much patience because I love this guitar.
Ever since I was 15, i've been playing Fender guitars. Two years ago I saw this guitar on sale at Guitar Center. I picked it up and started playing. Needless to say I didn't put it down until it was in my car. This amazing guitar has the sound and feel of the higher end <2-3,000 dollar) gibson, but it is alot easier on the wallet. It features 4 volume, and pickup nobs, and the double humbucker is always a nice touch. The is guitar is perfect for the newbie or the seasoned veteren. Pick up yours today. You won't be dissapointed!!
This was my first Gibson, and I really like this guitar. It is great for someone who may not want to spend a ton of money on a guitar. Through the years this guitar really took a beating. It plays great, and sounds decent too. Be careful where the headstock meets the neck, that part of this guitar is very weak. Mine fell forward off a typical guitar stand and snapped, luckly it could be fixed. Great guitar for a medium level guitarist. Over all, a very nice guitar.
This guitar has smokin' hot great tone humbuckers and it looks pretty cool to. I have gigged with this guitar and it can take a beating. It sounds good on one of my 6' tiny amps! It might not look as cool as a les paul custom but it almost has the same sound!
