I have just purchased this les paul and it is a masterpiece, not only does it have a sound which will blow you away. This guitar is also the most stylish guitar out there. It's classic, it's rawk, it's metal, it's an all in one deal. It may be a little expensive but when your holding this baby in your hands you will not regret it, it's worth it!!! If you are looking for a guitar to buy, this is the one.

I love Gibson guitars, but the more I play brand new ones, the more I am dissapointed in the overall quality. The deluxe is an awesome set-up, the mini's have great, distinguishable tone. I played a brand new one, and then a '90 at a local guitar vintage shop. If you want to spend the money, spend a little more, and get an early 90's or older. Gibson needs to start building their guitars like they used to.

'71 Cherry Bomb

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

My '71 Deluxe has been with me for 36 yrs. I ordered it brand new with a chreey red finish just like Dickie Betts used to play back then. I've played Fenders and others but nothing compares to the sound of my Deluxe. Find an old one and you will love it. I'm keeping mine for life.

Superb Guitar

By Brygge

from Socorro, NM

This is a guitar player's guitar. It plays great, sounds great, stays in tune, and is very versitile. This guitar sports the mini-humbuckers and performs better than my original '68 Deluxe. The action is great and by using "10's" the sounds can range from screamin' rock to twangy country to mellow jazz. In the studio, it's a charm; clean and full of tone. This guitar is a steal at any price and almost a give away at this price. If you need a "go to" guitar, this is it.

ive owned this guitar for about a year now and its a great guitar. there is only a few things that arent very impressing: when u turn ure amp up past a 100 wats u get feed back like no other, yeah tons of it! mine is black and i have a marshal stack. and its price tag is to high for the quality. but all in all its a good guitar!

bang for the buck (any buck!)

By chuck farg

from ny

this is truley a great instrument bar none! basicaly a standard with mini buckers and gold top with a light back.mine came flawless from the gib factory...even setup wise.im pretty picky about how i like a guitar to play and feel but strapthis bad boy over your shoulder and a feeling of comphort and confidence erupts.the mini sound great being clear than say burstbuckers or paf style pups, think single coil without noise.not that hot but very dynamic and touch sense.i also have a couple of other les pauls and this one seems to have a different tone feel to it.eye and ear candy...buy one you will not regret it.

Who Needs A Standard

By Goldtop26

from Phoenix, Arizona

This guitar is absolutely one of the best REAL Gibsons for the money. I picked one up at a friends house and plugged it into his Marshall and the sound was astounding! I mean I have had many good experiences with the mini humbuckers but when they're hooked up to the Les Paul it makes 'em sound twice as good. Like most Gibsons it's not as versatile as a Strat but the sustain is amazing. Of course you get the looks too. Pearl trapezoid inlay, spotless nickel hardware and Gibsons extreme quality. Definately another great guitar by Gibson. The LP Standard is about $500 more expensive for just different pick-ups. The one I played was an ebony one but I've got my eye on the Goldtop. I'm hoping to get it for my 15th birthday but if you've got the cash now, go buy this axe. A++++++++++++

Amazing

By mikeylove

from roselle park, nj

im only sixteen, but i love guitar. i picked this baby up one day, and i fell in love. the sustain, tone, the feel...its all amazing. i just straight up love it. if u plug it into a marshall half stack (or full stack) u cannot go wrong. it is alittle pricey, but its worth it. now, i finally have a job, and all of my money right now is going toward this. definitley a goon investment for any experienced guitarist
