Great Sound but..

By

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom Electric Guitar:

The only thing I don't like about this guitar is that the wood isn't as heavy as a normal Gibson Les Paul. It is very light like an Epiphone Model so it doesn't carry the sustain. That aside... Looks Beautiful, Plays great... the 57 classic pickups let each individual note shine through the dirtiest distortion.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom Electric Guitar:

The Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom is an amazing instrument with a great sound and great look! It is good for all styles of music, from classic rock to blues to southern rock to whatever. While playing it, you feel like guitar greats such as Jimmy Paige and Slash. If you are looking for a great quality guitar worth every cent you pay for it, the Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom is a winning choice.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom Electric Guitar:

This guitar is an awesome axe can be used for any kind of rock it is really nice not only for the sound quality and I really know sound quality but, also for its finish. This guitar is more like a trophy guitar you know show how much you have paid for it than after you tell anyone that and then they would probably say it probably doesn't sound good and thats why you hang it on the wall. Well then show off by playing it not only does it sound good but looks good. The grover keystone makes not only fast tunings but, the most smoothest you will ever try keystones fast tunnings and grovers smooth easy tuners makes it so good. The gold hardware might not be the best since it comes off easily but, just repaint it with a nicer gold color like i did (DO NOT PAINT OVER THE GOLD HUMBUCKERS THAT WILL RUIN THE sound just paint over the stopbar and the t-o-m bridge) the black speed knobs are so cool unlike the normal ones one fender and ibanez. Binding is nice shows the the guitar more. Buy it it is nice for everything. If got a gig anyone who sees your band play they will look at you the most. Buy it.

Nice, but...

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar about five months ago. It plays well and has the Les Paul sound I was looking for. I am disappointed in the quality however. I've seen better paint jobs on three hundred dollar Strats. The gold hardware is already tarnished. I was going to buy the supreme but it's paint job was also cheaply done. I know it's about the sound but still, guitars costing $2000-$3000 should have decent craftmanship. The neck on my guitar gets sticky fairly fast, once again due to the paint. I'm going to keep though because it does sound great.
