Comments about Gibson LPS Les Paul Signature Electric Guitar Strings:

I stopped playing guitar in 1977 when I entered the Navy. Maybe my Step Father didn't like the fact that I was earning more money playing in a band on Friday and Saturday nights than he did working for the telephone company. Anyway now I live in Sturgis SD and I'm a disabled Vet. I bought a real nice Epiphone Traditional Pro Les Paul but it's nice American made or from China! I love it! But it did come with garbage for strings and I've struggled with the strings on my cheap Strat I have. So I searched GC again and found the Signature Series Gibson Les Paul strings in #9 gauge and tried them. What really impressed me was the Silk Wrapping on the ends where they lock into the Nickel hardware. I was careful not to break the #1 string as I stretched it and took my time with the others. I really love Grover Tuners! The Lock Tone Tune-O-Matic Bridge is really nice if you understand how to adjust it and it was very close. So I had my strings back! That was eight month's ago! They are still sounding great but it's time to do some work on my beautiful LP so I'm getting more and helping my new neighbor with his really cheap Les Paul he bought. Boy is he upset since I let him play mine but he's on a tight budget. I recommend these to everyone that owns a Les Paul! You can't go wrong! The sound quality is off the charts and sustain is still there after hundreds of bending hours of playing and practice. Don't just buy one set! Be extra careful stretching the #1 string! They do break! But once you have it tuned you won't regret buying them!

Sig's on your Gibsons are the way to go.

Comments about Gibson LPS Les Paul Signature Electric Guitar Strings:

I bought a 2013 Gibson SG Standard last May and loved the whole thing right out of the case. Set up, strings, pickups (57 Classics), just everthing about the guitar. I didn't change the strings until a couple of months ago. I know, sounds ridiculous, but the guitar continued to sound great. I put a set of Ernie Ball 10's on it and it went from amazing to terrible. I then tried to find out what came on the SG and was not able to. So I went top of the line and ordered two sets of Les Paul Signature strings. Now, I also have a 2004 Les Paul Standard and I've not liked the sound of my Les Paul for a long time now. So when the Signature strings arrived, I put a set on the Les Paul. Unbelievable, my Les Paul came to life. I did not know strings could make that big of a difference. I thought it was all about the elctronics. Ernie balls sound great on my two American made Deluxe Strats, but horrible on my Les Paul. I got 2 sets and will soon load up the SG. I've not picked up any other guitar since putting the Sig's on the LP. There is a fullness with grit and shimmery sound that I've not heard come from my LP. They're expensive from Guitar Center, but the sound is truely amazing. I may try the Gibson "Standard" strings after these, but I believe it is also the "hybrid" (9's with the 46 low "E") set that makes the difference too. With a little extra care I just hope they last a while. They're expensive, but I bet your Gibson was too. So if you can afford a Gibson guitar, get these strings.

    Awesome Strings

These strings bend more easily than any other strings. They're lighter, and better. These strings would be great for classic rock.
