I've always struggled liking Gibson guitars--whether it be acoustic or electric. My small hands never meshed well with the fret boards and I couldn't quite find a sound I that would made me yell, "SOLD!" Fortunately, my father introduced me to a Gibson J-200 not too long ago and I was actually impressed. The fret board was comfortable and the sound was deep/warm, and had a comfortable feel. Aside from the actual specs, the sunburst finish and fret inlays are nice on the eyes. If you ask me, its a great guitar and a solid investment. Plus, Zeppelin's Jimmy Page and The Who's Roger Daltrey rocked out on Gibson J-200...I think that speaks for itself.
A true beauty from the inside out. This sheila will not disappoint any serious musician. The neck is set to perfection. It's viola like super jumbo body really pops out the sound for all to hear every note, riff and off beat strum (when not plugged in!). Finger picking heaven. You can literally feel the resonance over your body when finger picking or strumming with this acoustic electric guitar. I use Fishman for all my pickups. And this guitar includes A Fishman Aurora pickup, which is actually the top of the line when it comes to pick ups. Pure brilliant sound. Great for the studio or for those small coffee house gigs. Coated with a remarkable Tabasco Sunburst finish that blinds and gleams when light reflects from it. If you're lookin' for a guitar that's going to last you generations worth, then this guitar is worth the investment. You will not be disappointed, ever. peace, love and a diet cola. <3
I am not a gibson guy when it comes to acoustic..I always want to buy taylor or high end martin.. but then, when i gave another try to gibson, i found this guitar.. This actually sounded better than taylor 814ce.. It has fuller sound than taylor (of course because of the size of the body). If you don't mind getting a jumbo size guitar, this would be the best option you should get..
