Overview

Straight from Gibson Guitar's Historic Re-issue guitars come Gibson's new Historic Spec series-parts that have been specially designed to replicate the original parts used by Gibson in the late 1950s.

This Historic Potentiometer has been designed to be more vintage-accurate than any other potentiometer on the market today. With a dynamic sweep from 1 to 10, you'll notice the difference. For anyone who's ever said, "They don't make 'em like they used to," here's some proof to the contrary.

Nothing like the original

By David

from Santa Monica California

Sorry ! Did not work for me. No sweep, From 1-6 Nothing, 7-10 sound volume tone, Yea the whole thing. The original volume pot in my 63 reissue SG Standard works like a real volume pot. I get volume, tone all from 1-10. This is the second time I have replaced the pot for the bridge pickup and not getting the results as the original. Had to do this review so real players don't fall into that historic hype like I did. No audio taper here. Watch out.

Best pot out there

By DOUG WRIGHT

from yucca valley, Ca

Everything it claims to be. Great taper and sensitivity. The best I have ever come across in 35 years.
