The Gibson Firebird Studio Reverse '70s Tribute Left-Handed Electric Guitar celebrates a great guitar from the past. It features pickups that have a new magnet and pole piece configuration with dual steel blades and a single Alnico V magnet. This more efficient design makes for improved output at less expense. The calibrated pickup winding offers balanced output in both rhythm and lead positions with increased output on the bridge pickup. Covered with solid chrome, these pickups produce higher output than previous mini humbucking pickups, yet still retain a vintage voice with plenty of chime.

Just got this guitar from Guitar Center, tuned it up,intonation was dead on.the thing is a beast, immaculate, neck feels perfect, for the price it is spot on.highly recommend this one.good job Gibson
I have a few different guitars, Gibson has always been my favorite but doesnt make near enough models in left handed versions, I had been watching for the Firebird either used or on sale, Guitar Center online was great to deal with, got an awesome price, quick free shipping. This guitar was near perfect right out of the box. Tuned it, ready to go.
I have been a Firebird fan since I seen Tom Petty play one as a kid. What sucks about that is that I am left-handed. I get bored with Strat's and Tele's and the ominous black color option they all come in. Anyhow, being a fan of Gibson since I learned to play on my old man's J-45 upside down acoustic and then switching the strings on my first guitar "pawnshop righty" Cortez Flying V, I have always wanted my own real Gibson. I have a 1960 Es-125 but I wanted a solid body. Behold the Gibson Firebird Studio Reverse '70s Tribute in lefty. This thing is definetly not of A les Paul's quality but is finely made none the less. Its tone goes from nice, bluesy and warm to all out power chord screaming and bright. The neck is set, smooth and the action is tight. The hardware is bit cheaper with no "Gotoh" name on it but the thing stays in tune and hey, did I mention it is a Lefty Gibson Firebird in Vintage burst for this price?
