Great guitar

By mark

from Saco, ME

The guitar came nearly tuned and a quick adjustment had it sounding great. Intonation is perfect. Tuning keys work great and the nut looks cut perfectly. I like a covered pickup and these Burstbucker Pro's sound killer. The neck is so sweet sounding and the bridge really provides that classic rock sound I love. Pots work great and the black knobs with silver reflectors really look sharp against the red finish. Speaking of finish, the gloss looks superb and there is great looking grain beneath it. The pictures that Gibson provides don't do it justice. The brown case is huge but seems put together well. The price is a bit high for an explorer IMO but if you wait for a GC 15% discount it's not too bad.
