The ES-355 Limited Run electric guitar makes one of the great Gibson classics of the late '50s available again as a beautifully crafted and finished Custom Shop masterpiece. This one sports the classic Bigsby vibrato. Includes black levant hardshell case.
The Gibson ES-335 brought hollowbody tradition and solidbody performance together in 1958, and it is still one of the all-time classic guitar designs. It's among the most versatile guitars you can own. Classic semi-hollowbody design and dual '57 Classic Gibson humbuckers combine to produce everything from full-bodied growls to singing sustain. The ES-335 also features a thin-tapered 1960s neck and Richlite fingerboard (24-3/4" scale), body/neck binding, nickel-plated hardware with Grover kidney tuners, Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, separate volume and tone controls, and a 3-way switch.

I recently purchased a 2010 Custom Shop ES-355. Antique Cherry finish with Bigsby, ebony fret board, all gold hardware, hard shell case. Absolutely beautiful guitar. I have wanted one of these since I was 13, (56 now). Still getting used to it. The action is a bit higher that I am used to. All my other guitars are 1/16th at the nut; my ES-355 is 2/16th. May need to file down the nut a little. Action at 12th fret a bit high as well. I cranked the bridge down a few turns. No fret buzz until I bent the string. So, appears frets are not even across the fret board. Had to crank it back up. Was difficult to tune and would not stay in tune very long, even after stretch was out of strings. I put some graphite nut lube in the nut slot and that helped a lot. Just before this purchase I bought a Speedster travel guitar for the price. It played great right out of the box. Very low action and no fret buzz. Stays in tune for a long time. I am a bit embarrassed for Gibson. Hey, but I still love my ES-355. I had to name it after my wife so she would let me but it.
just purchased this gibson and I can't put it down,a little pricey but well worth the money.screams like a prom date, and is wet as a shark attack, I didnt evan have to set it up, good job Gibson I just might switch from Fender.
this guitar will take your playing to the next level. this thing will put out those soothing blues riffs until the end of time. grab a cigar and hear this baby sing
This guitar has a great sound it can play almost every type of genre of music out there and by the way its a gibson so you know already its a awesome guitar! :D
I just bought this guitar a few weeks back and Gibson really out done themselves on this one. The pickkups sound great and I can get the best blues tones out of this guitar than any of the others that I have. It is a lot, but it is really with it.
Hi everyone! First time post here. I bought myself a red ES-355 Custom shop a few weeks ago, and I am just blown away how great this thing sounds! From what I've heard they are only doing a limited run on these as well so just curious if any of you guys around here have one? I've never owned a guitar with a bigbsy as well, and have fallen in love with it. Let me know your thoughts on what you think of yours. Cheers
Gibson has outdone themsevles with this axe... this guitar is simply amazing. it has that classic bite to it, and can also create very beautiful, clear, ringing sounds. i am thinking about saving up and picking up one of these myself. I have nothing negative to say about this guitar.
This guitar is top notch. Custom shop quality with the classic 335 sound. Love it! If you cannot afford this model, check out the standard ES models!
I don't own one of these but I've played one at my local guitar center and it just sounds amazing. I've always loved semi-hollow guitar and that its a Gibson is just a major plus. I would love to have one of these guitars. The Bigsby Tremolo is so nice.
When i purchased my guitar the fretts needed to to be brought down to be flush with the neck just a little but that was no big deal at all probably the only thing i have to say about this guitar thats not great, the tone is amazing real deep balls sound that i love. An the bigsby is real solid and made to last unlike my flimsy stratocaster. beautiful look and smooth playability over all. I also found that even right off the shelf it seems stay in tune for a suprisingly long time. I find it hard to say anything bad about this guitar. The most important to me is sound and youll be overwhelmingly shocked by the sound of this one no matter your style or setup. Little pricy but great investment.
