In August, 2011, Federal Agents raided Gibson Guitar and confiscated fingerboards, necks and even entire guitars. After months of negotiations Gibson received those necks and bodies back. They have used these blanks to create a new series of guitars to remind us that we are "endowed by our creater with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
This remarkable instrument is Gunmetal Grey, with Dirty Fingers pickups and Nickel Hardware. Emblazoned on the pickguard is a gold "American Made" emblem, and every one of these 300 Special Run guitars comes with a unique Certificate of Authenticity.

I ordered this guitar for several reasons. #1 is because of the story behind the series. #2 is I LOVE the 335 series, special issue or not (think George Harrison). #3 is for an investment for my kids when its time. #4, I have another one on the way.
