It's not often you have a chance to own a piece of history and right now you have that rare opportunity before you. Gibson and Bob Dylan have agreed to release an extremely limited edition of exact replicas of the Dylan's unique SJ-200. Not only is it an exact replica, but this one is personally autographed by the "The Voice of a Generation" himself.
Limited to a run of only 175 total replicas worldwide, this SJ-200 features a solid AAA Sitka spruce top and solid AAA highly figured Indian rosewood back and sides with a Vintage Sunburst finish accenuated by 1930's Ray Whitley style multiple body binding, double pickguards with an original albalone leaf inlay and the highly recognizeable rosewood 4-bar inlay Moustache bridge.
The two-piece maple neck has a rosewood with a mother-of-pearl "Belle Voce" inlay, while the headstock has mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and Bob Dylan "Eye" logo design on it. Even if this wasn't a duplicate of a Bob Dylan model, and wasn't autographed, it's still an amazing piece of art showing exactly what a luthier with a sense of style can create.
