Comments about Gibson 2017 Les Paul Studio Gold Series Electric Guitar:
I own an 80s model. Same exact guitar though. I played one of the new tribute models expecting the same tone and play quality. However, I was sadly let down. This guitar is amazing. Its like heaven angels singing when you find the correct way to play this guitar. I don't know why these guitars are so amazing? I leave that for the the engineers. I just take care of my baby. Sadly, the maker that made mine isn't with the company anymore. If you can find one of these from the eighties snag it and don't let it go. I think till 98 this particular model and setup with ebony was made by a particular maker that worked for Gibson.
