The subtle elegance of a satin finish joins BurstBucker pickups, Grover tuners and traditional in a genuine made-in-Memphis ES-335.

New for 2015
F-hole emblem engraved truss rod cover: The iconic symbol of the Gibson ES line is now the hallmark of Gibson Memphis.
Grover Milk Bottle Rotomatic tuners: Retro style tuners with modern features and 18:1 ratio for improved tuning accuracy.
Redesigned neck dimensions: Added thickness to Peghead transition provides greater strength and stability. Historic truss rod: Superior adjustability due to the Teflon coating, larger diameter rod, original brass anchor and larger washer.

Bone nut: Bone for smooth tuning and excellent durability.
Rolled neck binding: Binding is rounded off to comfortably fit the contours of the player's hand.
Block inlay fretboard: Block fingerboard inlays are synonymous with the 1960's ES-335.
Low profile frets: Lower fret height provides smooth playability and accurate intonation.
New finish colors: New variations on your favorite vintage color schemes as well as all new, eye catching colors.
Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups: Pickups are calibrated for each position for balanced output & brighter sound (closer to original PAFs)
Capacitor changes: Less treble cut than previous capacitor results in a tone with a harmonically rich, singing quality.
Locking stop bar tailpiece: Solid connection from the stop bar to the body of the guitar increases resonance and sustain all while making string changes simpler.

Comments about Gibson 2015 ES-335 Satin Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:

WOW !!! This 335 is GORGIOUS and sounds incredible ,because it IS , plus more ! I have been searching for this exact type of 335 for years. Originally ,I thought I wanted this model with Classic 57 pickups , BUT after hearing the Burst Buckers, my opinion quickly changed ; as the Burst Buckers depict a much fuller and louder , and robust tone and react very sensitive to the volume controls on this guitar. Fit and Finish is immaculate. The neck is to die for , very smooth with rolled edges and although categorized as a slim taper neck---- it is a little beefier than the 1958 first offerings and more true to the 1962 version ,when Gibson switched to the block inlays for a few years. One of the best feeling and playing necks on any guitar, I have ever played !! The bone nut gives the warm sustain more character and cuts any harshness that could prevail. This guitar is so versatile and can command many different sounds and tones to be dialed in. The burst buckers are voiced from the original PAF pickups from the 50s and 60s and are fabulous. IMOP , this is one of the BEST 335s ever produced and the cherry red is beautiful. I will keep this guitar forever and maybe take it to my grave, if possible. Pricing has been reduced recently and is way low for this treasure as the 2016s are now out, with NO differences. If you can find one of these and love 335s, better get one soon. From my research, you can buy this model now and sell it for more than you will currently pay for it. One of the best deals on the planet. ENJOY !!!!

Comments about Gibson 2015 ES-335 Satin Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:

I received this direct from the factory. I am very happy with the Es-335 right out of the box and case. It plays like a dream and my expectations are exceeded. The craftsmanship is flawless. Straight neck, fret roll dressing is great. I love it.
The only issue I found was that it came in a reused box. Then there are lots of pick guard scratches, like it's been played a considerable amount. The case also has a scratch through the logo. No case candy either. (Stickers, tags, protective plastic). Plus a lot of dust on the headstock and body. I thought I was buying a new guitar from the factory. Not a returned used item.
