Min-ETune automated “robot” tuners
Min-ETune is a small compact battery powered tuning unit that sits on the back of the guitar — a mighty enhancement to an already great instrument. No need for screws, wiring or routing, in fact the system is hardly visible from the front of the guitar. You can still adjust the tuning pegs manually or turn on the Min-ETune to choose from 12 popular tunings or program six of your own.

I've owned several Les Pauls in my time. A 91 Studio lite, a 2009 standard, a few regular studios, and several knock off brands (ltd, agile, etc). This is the first one I played that I knew immediately will be with me til I'm done playing. Features are interesting here, because I was in love with the green however wasn't a fine of the knobs, or the white e-tune truss rod cover. Both of those were replaced straight away, gold speed knobs with a black truss rod cover. The hemp case is an extremely nice touch, a gorgeous case that would sell for a few hundred by itself. Electronics wise, I can see where having coil splitting available and boost is nice for certain players, but I have some great strats and a 65 jazzmaster for everything clean I may want to play. I bought this guitar for one purpose, and that was to be the thick, sustain filled rock guitar my collection has been missing for a while. The min-etune is OK, certainly doesn't deserve the hatred it gets, and it's pretty cool being able to switch back and forth quickly between songs with different tunings. Quality is pretty good but to be fair at this price if there was anything wrong with it I'd be pretty mad it slipped through their in house QC. The balance of the weight is fantastic, and the min-etune goes unnoticed in my book. The looks are to die for, if you get the right top (specifically for green). I've seen some mellow out greens that look almost like a vomit color (think jade green for fender) but the one I got is a vibrant green with a gorgeous flame top. It's the perfect weight for a les paul in my opinion, just over 9 lbs. Check one out for yourself, these things are fantastic instruments.
