Comments about Gibson 2014 Firebird Electric Guitar:
Talk about a crowd pleaser! I bought mine the day it went on display at the old Modern Music Studio in Belleville, IL, in 1962, if I remember correctly. Love at first sight. I still have the sales receipt. I'll never forget the feeling of playing it in my band in front of the crowds around the STL metro area. It's survived all these years and plays as good as new. I worried about the one-piece construction, but no more... it's warp free, still has light action, and has never needed an adjustment or any attention, other than the periodic string change. Even the electronics are trouble free! Mine looks just like the one pictured except it has the vibrato tail piece. It's a looker, but if you don't like heavy guitars, you won't like the Firebird.
