this guitar is a dream come true. it plays great and is so easy to play. the sound is amazing. i bought it blemished and is in perfect condition with the exemption of avery small pain defect on the back of the guitar (light color). this is my first gibson (is the only gibson i like) i always had fenders (currently own an american standard tele with an ash body) and i love it. if you are thinking about getting one just do it.
This is probably one of the nicest looking guitars ever made IMHO. Bought the Vintage Sunburst(in 2010)and it looks fantastic. The fit and finish could have been better though. There were flaws in the finish (nothing serious) but expected a little more for this kind of money. The case is a thing of beauty also and very heavy. The setup was a little high and the neck is very different compared to what I am used to. The sound was OK for Rhythm and Blues style but not the rock machine I thought it was. I have sold it since and bought and SG.
This guitar has great playability. Everything you would expect from Gibson. The neck is very easy to play, very fast. Great tone and volume control. Definitely worth the money if your into blues or fast solos
I saw this guitar and I thought "Eh, it's the only Gibson electric model I haven't played yet, so what the hey." I plugged it into a Fender R212 amp and I was totally blown away by the tone. The bridge pickup was so-so but the neck would just scream and scream! it was totally unlike any other Gibson I've ever played. I totally recommend it, especially if you're into the Blues.
