These Gold Machine Heads from Gibson are made to the same quality standards as the originals, right down to their pearloid buttons. These are the kind of tuning machines that will spiff up an older guitar and make tuning a pleasure.
I got the Gibson vintage gold machine heads to replace the old ones on my 93’ Gibson Custom Shop SG, after so long the old one’s where just not as responsive as they used to or should be especially on the G-string. The new ones went on fine look good and have had no problems with them, Gibson’s should have these machine heads the just look better and they add a bit of class to the guitar. The old machine heads I was having problems with I took apart and it was kind of a disappointing quick fix and I did not need to get the new ones but I am happy I did because now I have the old one’s on my Epiphone SG. I recommend you to get these’s heads there vary nice.

These tuners are not necessarily the best that money can buy...but the do the most imortant thing! The hold your guitar in tune while giving you that classy keystone look!
