• Good quality but won't fit Epiphone

  I have an Epiphone Les Paul and assumed since it is part of the Gibson line these would fit. They are too small. Apparently since Epiphones are put together in Asia they use metric pots and therefore metric knobs. Otherwise the knobs appear to be good quality--the color is uniform and neat. I got the vintage amber and they don't look quite like the picure. They are more amber than the gold and the black around the post in the photo is just shadow. They are solid amber.

• cool knobs with vintage vibe

  Installed a set of black knobs on my LP Custom. As stated previously, they are not a direct fit. One must carefully open up the whole with a dremel tool for them to push down flush with the guitar body. Not difficult to do, but one needs to pay attention while doing the work. Would have given five stars had they fit without having to customize.

• amber knobs

  i have a Gibson LP Studio. i had these same knobs on but in black and decided to switch to amber. well the knobs themselves are great - nothing wrong... except the fact that they dont sit plush with the guitar body like my older ones did. they stick out - kinda as if you had push-pull knobs, and pulled them out. there is about a half centimeter gap between the bottom of the knob and the body of the guitar. its no big deal and almost unnoticable but if you ever decide to get push-pulls.... they'll look rediculous. should habe been a better fit, but it still works.
