Hard to believe i would ever give any guitar perfect a score but I cannot see any thing wrong with mine. I purchased one about 2 months ago after playing about 100 different quitars in every dealer near me.I was originally leaning toward a rosewood d-45 untill I picked this up.. it has a small body..perfect worksmanship.. the tone is bright .. great sustain.. the electronics are wonderfull..even smells good.. ROSEWOOD!!...only problem I see with it is that I can't seem to put it down. all the other axes are feeling left out and lonely. I never thought i would say my martin sounded flat but it does next to this instrument..If you like the gibson acoustic sound, than I can't think of a nicer way to go.... but of course play as many different guitars as you can first!!!

  • OVER THE MARTIN

As reviewed by J on 12/22/2009

I played many and almost bought another Martin. Then, I played the Songwriter Deluxe, Studio EC. It felt better in weight, neck, sturdiness. It sounds tremendous. A full sound with bright highs. Throught the amp, the Fishman is like a sound of the Sirens. The built-in tuner is a nice feature, too. Great action. Easy to play. I actual think I play better because of the guitar. I would buy it again.

  • Awesome

As reviewed by Sam Tedell on 4/23/2007

I don't own this guitar, but have spent my fair share of time playing it in stores. I have to say, this is the best acoustic guitar i've ever played. I think it's even better than my 1969 alvarez. I can only dream of when to buy it. If you can afford it, GET IT!
