Classic looks, powerful sound . . . a replica of Sheryl's prized '62 Gibson Country Western!

It features the square-shoulder body style; solid Sitka spruce top; solid mahogany back, sides, and neck; rosewood fingerboard and bridge; mother-of-pearl split-parallelogram fretboard inlays; and a mother-of-pearl headstock logo inlay. Nickel tuners with white buttons. Built-in active pickup, the Hummingbird-style pickguard without artwork, and Sheryl's signature on the label. Antique lacquer top finish in a warm honey color and stained dark cherry sides.

Another Great Gibson AcousticGuitar.

I have had my new Sheryl Crow Gibson about a year now. Yep, I'm a male, but even with Sheryl's name associated with this model from Gibson it's very much a guys guitar. It's a well satisfying guitar for any style of playing. This square shouldered dreadnaught has a great solid mahogany sound, and lots of depth and volume and treble ring than a Gibson Southern Jumbo. That's just my opinion. I play all ascoustic Bluegrass and Folk music with local bands in my area, and this guitar holds it's own with the best of different acoustic brands played by other players in my groups. Compared to others who play Martin D-18's, D-28's and HD-28's my Gibson Crow sounds and plays as good as theirs. I also own a Martin HD-28 myself. I use D'Aquisto Phosphor Bronze light gauge strings, switching to their Phosphor Bronze in medium gauge when needed. But also I find this guitar sounds better using the .053" sixth string with both the light and medium gauge strings. The .053" sixth string sounds much clearer and keeps it's deep base tone than a '054" I do the same thing playing my Martin HD-28. For flat picking, finger picking, or hard and soft chording, this Sheryl Crow Gibson is hard to beat. The fit, finish and workmanship is breautiful.
