First SJ-200 EC arrived a year ago, and I felt there was a problem. After a couple of months, Guitar Center inspected it and thought that it had a defective neck. With outstanding support from Guitar Center, it went back to Gibson in Montanta. Gibson confirmed the defect, and quickly sent a replacement SJ-200 EC. Replacement perfect! What a joy to play! I've had it for about 9 months now and although I play my Gretsch Black Falcon most of the time, when I am ready for the acoustic sound, I latch onto the SJ-200 EC and the fun continues. I have the Vintage Sunburst model and it looks as good as it plays! If lightning struck this guitar, I would go right out and get another one EXACTLY like it. Both Guitar Center and Gibson showed me good old fashioned American service and standing behind the product.
