NEW REVIEW - Amazing beyond words
I know a lot of people say, well there isn't much of a difference between the epiphone sg and the gibson sg. Just the price. Well i disagree. The Gibson Sg surpasses the epiphone in every way. For me, it's playability, sound, and just the over all feel of the guitar. It's much lighter than the epiphone, and has better quality all around. Im not saying the epiphones are bad guitars, im just prasing the gibson sg because it is truely amazing. Im basing this after playing my epiphone g400, and playing a gibson sg at the gibson showcase in nashville. It's a world of difference for me.

"In Awe of this Guitar!\
I have always been a Fender man, and I still am an avid Fender player. After 30 years, this is my first Gibson. I am in awe of this instrument. It is a beauty, and man, when I say snarling, this dog snaps and growls. It sounds amazing. It is well balanced, and is really good for metal, rock, and even some jazz! I guess I am a Gibson Man too. This is a keeper. I gave it a 4.5 on quality due to some slight aberritions in the lacquer coat, but nothing that necessarily detracts from the overall perfection of this guitar. Buy it. If you're a Fender man, it will not detract from your love of the Strat or Tele, but you will fall in love with a fine, professional quality instrument you will be proud to strap across your shoulders.

trustme
ok, being cursed with the left handed thing you know I am up against the wall. HOWEVER, I have tried it all, right handed flipped, knock offs, converting the cheapos to the "real deal" and all I can say is this. Buy the real thing and say WOW! this is like driving a chevy cavalier and then going s 500 benz, this is an awesome guitar, long lean and a voice that makes you go oh my god..trust me...just buy the flippin thing and rock on.....by the way my initials are "SG" so how could I go wrong with the thing?!

Awesome
Wow, I played this baby at my friends house this one day and I feel in love with this masterpiece. Its very hard to find many good left-handed guitars anywhere anymore at a good price, but this guitar is amazing. Its price may kind of be out of my price range right now, but it looks really afordable. When I played this guitar it sounded so smooth and clean it was crazy in a good way. Anyone who is looking for a sweet guitar to just rock out on or show your skills off to your friends then this is your guitar. Its nearly perfect I think it should be a little bit cheaper though because it would take me half a year to just get enough money for it. Even so, its still worth the money.

Totally Awesome
Just purchased this axe yesterday. Wow, this guitar really rocks. Neck is very smooth, fast and easy run. Sound is heavy and great for the metal I love to play. It can hit the high notes that pierce your ears and at the same time, pound out those heavy power cords. I am in love with this and for those of you considering a Fender, dont waste your time, this Gibson beats all Fenders any day.

The perfect slide guitar!
I have been playing fender guitars for about 10 years now, and I still do. However, when I began wanting to get more into slide guitar, my fenders were not the sound to have. I bought this guitar, wanting that classic Duane Allman tone. Mission accomplished!! The warm tone of the Humbuckers that this baby puts out is incredible and long lasting. The fullness of the sound fully recreates that "Statesboro Blues" sound. I would recommend also using a fender tube amp with this guitar, along with a blues driver pedal.

Sweet
I dont own one of these bad boys but I got to play one at a used guitar store. Man it was sweet it sounded so smooth and clean I just couldn't believe it. It was my first time playing a gibson. Right now I have a Strat and I couldn't believe how much better I sounded on the gibson. It is affordable but right now i dont have a job or else i would have one. So if you want a affordable guitar that sounds clean and you can just shred on this is the one for you.
