a classic rock MONSTER!!!
GIBSON SG CLASSIC! Just think of having the power to play ANY and I mean ANY guitar riff ever imaginined without having to switch guitars. You can even rip out the hendrix likcs on this baby!!!. The P-90's in my opinion are far better that the humbuckers. I was given the oppurtunity to either get the sg standard or the classic. I tried them out a GC for about a month and overall chose this one. The only downside to this is NO HARDSHELL CASE!But other that that, the best guitar I have ever owned. IF you want bluesy metal riffs of AC/DC to slashing Ted Nugent riffs as well as B.B. king slow blues this guitar is for you.

Classic SG
I bought this guitar after spending hours playing various other guitars, including MIA Strats, Tele's, Explorers, Flying V's and many others. This guitar sounds great with the P-90's and just felt right in my hands. The only guitar I liked better was the Gibson Flying-V, but GC only had a white one in stock and that was not the color for me. This SG reminds me of my 69 SG Standard which I unfortunately sold many moons ago.

The Loudest Mid-Range SG at a Great Price
I own this guitar and since the day I bought it I havent put it down. The Dual P-90 Pickups gave me the Mid-Range I had been looking for. It makes playing AC/DC songs a lot more enjoyable not that they were'nt enjoyable before. It kills in the sustain catagory, just hit that power chord and sit for about two minutes. The highs are awsome and as for me I live for hammering on high notes. So do yourself a favor and go to your local guitar center and plug this guitar up for a wild test run. You wont want another guitar after you put this in your hands and hear the quality of that legendary Gibson Sound.

PLAY JUST LIKE PETE
About a month ago, I returned my Epiphone Joe Pass jazz box due to the fact that the treble humbucker malfunctioned twice. i was in need of a new guitar fast considering i had a gig in two weeks. i was looking for a nice affordable GIbson. I conjured up a list of 6 or so guitars included Gibson SG Classic and special faded variants, Flying V special faded, Les Paul Studio and junior. after playing all of them to my music and listening to them (and performing some windmills to get the Townshend effect) i quickly fell in love with this guitar. the dual p-90's screamed with my blues notes, it was light, perfect for windmills and the neck was nice and fat. the rosewood fingerboard blue my mind. i was in love. this guitar is definitley the perfect guitar for anyone that wants a inexpensive gibson, i would even reccomend it over the standard after playing one fo my buddies. play like pete with this axe.

SG for Sweet Guitar
One day i went to the local music store looking for the gibson sg faded. But when i played it I quickly put it down. With my heart sank because I didn't get to play an SG my eye caught the classic. I plugged that baby in and fell in love with its beautiful tone. It simply is and AWSOME guitar. So if you are a die-hard gibson fan like me you have to play this one!

The Perfect P-90 Rig
I was looking specifically for a factory-stock P-90 equipped Gibson (solid or hollow) and I settled for this particular SG. To my suprise, this axe quickly became one of the most enjoyable instruments in my Gibson collection, only second to my 1986 Les Paul Custom. I was a little dismayed as to why Gibson did not install the Deluxe-type tuner set but, I have not had any issues with the factory installed set as of yet. All in all, a fantastic guitar !!!

Great Guitar
I can't say enough good things about this guitar, but i can start. It's Really light, the pickups sound AMAZING in an all tube amp, and it's got great action. The only bad thing i can say about this guitar is that it should have more color options.

Nothing can beat it!
I ordered one about a year ago and it still plays like brand new. It is a amazing guitar for the price. I recommend this guitar to people who play like classic rock, or nu-metal. It is just plain out perfect!

Excellent guitar, great sound!
I purchased this a few months ago and I still can't get over what a great guitar this is. Best of all the price is kicker and the P90s are incredible. The only thing that this guitar needed was a new setup. I'd have to save Gibson did a poor good preparing this for sale, the action was really bad. Fortunately I do all my own setups and had the problem fixed in no time. I played this guitar for several hours at GC and had people coming over to compliment the sound of the guitar. I was so afraid to put it back on the rack because I though someone else might grab it while I was trying to decide whether to purchase it or not. If you like SGs you will love this one.

Couldnt buy a better guitar
The first day i walked into the store looking around for a new guitar i was dumbfounded at the prices and new if i wanted to get anything decent i would have to pay way more than i had planned, but then i saw the sg. i sa down plugged in and fell in love. this guitar can make even the worst of amps sound good with the P-90's and for the price i couldnt pass up this opportunity, and when i saw the gig bag that it came with i was even happier. overall for the price and the quality, this guitar is a steal
