Product Information

Classic P-90 sound in a humbucker-size housing!

When Gibson introduced the Les Paul Deluxe in 1969, it incorporated the mini-humbucker which had only been available on certain Gibson-made Epiphone models. With its smaller size, narrow magnetic field and unique design combination, the mini-humbucker produces bright and focused output, while retaining the famous Gibson humbucker performance. Gibson now offers a vintage replica of the original mini-humbucker, featuring adjustable pole pieces and bar Alnico II magnets. It's authentic in every detail from its special coated enamel wire to its maple spacers and vintage braided lead wire.

The P-94 is a unique combination that provides the best of both worlds - the classic Gibson P-90 sound in a traditional humbucker-size housing. Replacing a humbucker with the P-94 requires no routing or other damaging modifications to the guitar.

The P-94 uses the same enamel coated vintage wire and Alnico V magnets as the P-90 and comes in calibrated neck and bridge models for balanced output - or combine the P-94 with an existing humbucker for unique tonal combinations.

The P-94 has higher output and sustaining qualities than traditional single-coil pickups giving it plenty of bite when needed, with enough responsiveness to allow subtle nuances for enhanced dynamics.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

Sound bright and lively and sensitive to dynamics

These pickups are incredible. They have a great clean sound great for funk without sounding sterile. They sound very lively and are sensitive to picking dynamics. They react great with effects and are very quiet. Single notes and chords ring out and sound bright with out being brittle while still retaining a warmth. Over all installing the p-94's made a great playing guitar and great sounding guitar as well. Highly recommended.

AMAZINg PICKUP

I got this pickup about a week ago.... and all i can say is WOW! I bought a bridge p94 pickup for my les paul and kept the 490r pickup that was already on the neck....when in bridge position my les paul studio got that crunchier tone that most sgs have... in the middle position that creamy eric clapton es335 tone and on the neck position that warm bluesy les paul sound.....all out great pickup...

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got this humbucker a few weeks ago and it's awesome! I wanted to modify my melodymaker so it would have a more hollow, punkish tone and this was perfect!I moved my bridge pickup next to the lower one and put my humbucker under the bridge instead and it's perfect! Buy it!
