  • Been 2 years, and I still cant put it down

As reviewed by Gibson + Marshall = Tone you cant ar on 10/19/2009

I love this guitar! I am sure that there was a GC Las Vegas employee kicking himself for telling me to put down the Goldtop and give this one a try! Hahaha! I am still not crazy about the looks of this guitar, but the tone still satisfies, even after 2 years. Very comfortable neck, and the weight of this Les Paul is substantially less than a mahogany paul. Yet the sustain is fantastic, and that tone... Oh man!

  • A Les Paul like no other

As reviewed by Rich on 6/1/2010

This really is a guitar that nearly plays itself. It rings out loud and clear before you even plug it in. Amp it up and it can go from a monstrous lead chugging demon beast to a beautifully crisp clean toned angel. Much brighter than a standard Les Paul, but with an extremely wide mid band sound, and a crunchy low end (even if not as deep as a standard Paul). I have the non-chambered version which weighs a ton, but sounds so amazing and unique, it's worth the "weight", if you will. Hands down my favorite guitar, even more than the Gibson Flying V I own (which is a tough act to follow). If you can, BUY THIS GUITAR! You will be amazed.

  • Needle in the haystack

As reviewed by Rob on 2/8/2010

This is a Les Paul that isn't going to jump out at you from the other Studios, Specials and Standards hanging in the store. It is worth searching for as it is a remarkable guitar. The pickups are the same as found in many Customs and the sustain matches any of the heavier Les Paul's out there. The body weight is much more tolerable and easier to play. It is a tone monster. There are not many people out there playing them, so its looks also turns heads. My Strat hasn't been out to a gig in the year I've owned mine.
