NEW REVIEW - best guitar ive ever owned
I've been playing guitar for a year now and it may seem strange that I have a gibson LP, but this thing is awsome and it doesn't matter how long ive been taking lessons because ive played violin for 6 years and drums for 1, but i stopped drums.
I just want to say this sweet baby wails like crazy and is so soft when it comes to light music!!!!!
I have the Faded cherry and have to say this is the best guitar ive ever owned!!!!!
I've had a Fender Strat and an Ibanez RG!!!!!!!!
This guitar tops them all!!!!

NEW REVIEW - Great Guitar
I've been playing a long time and have always wanted a Gibson Les Paul. I finally have one. I've been looking and comparing models for several years and waiting for a deal and my first choice finally came up. I purchased a wine red Studio with gold hardware. This is a beutiful guitar. The quality and craftmanship is obvious. The case is also a cut above. I had it setup to my liking and it plays like a dream. Action and intonation are dead-on. The sustain and tone are amazing. Sure I'd prefer a LP Standard or Custom. However, I've tried them all and the Studio is 95% of the guitar for a fraction of the price. You can't go wrong with this guitar.

NEW REVIEW - Best for the price by far
I have had this baby for a couple years now and she has never let me down. Its my guitar of choice on stage and it sounds absolutely amazing. I had an issue with the straplocks I put on it, so I had to play my old epiphone les paul custom for a couple of weeks and when I picked this thing up again the difference in sound quality was unbelievable. For the price, don't pass these up if you are looking for a new guitar, they are great for every kind of music especially alternative rock.

NEW REVIEW - newborn fireburst
This was my 1st Les paul guitar. I couldn't afford the standard at the time and I'm glad I couldn't. I saw this as it 1st came in to guitar center and I did a little play-n-feel. Took it home and it was like a new born to me. I decided to add a bigsby gold end piece to it. I am well pleased with the sound, feel and the option of vibrato. As with all newborns,, you have to teach it and it will teach you . I got the gold fireburst and it is still "flaming" to this day.

NEW REVIEW - Les Paul Studio
I picked up an Alpine White Les Paul Studio with gold hardware today. This thing makes the most beautiful distorted sustained tones and sounds great. Pickups have plenty of bite and are capable of a nice clean sound as well. It is chimey with the pickup switch in the mid position, provides a nice bluesy tone with the neck pickup, and some serious attitude with the bridge pickup. Run through my pedal and Peavey Valve King it can shred. I have played it for four hours already and am going to play some more. The neck is a little thicker than I prefer, but it isn't a problem, it will just take a little getting used to. The chambered body feels good with a wide strap weight-wise, and the ebony fingerboard is slick and smooth. Frets are smooth and action is good out of the box. I'd recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a high quality guitar that doesn't want to second mortgage the farm to get one. Good product at a good price Gibson.

ALL PAUL
This axe is the real deal. If you want Les Paul feel, playability, features, and tone, this is the one that won't break the bank. Mine arrived in excellent condition, not a thing wrong, and even a decent "everyman" set-up, which I proceeded to dial in to my taste. Great Canadian made black faux snakeskin hardshell. I've been playing guitar over 30 years, own 40+ guitars, and I find this Les Paul version VERY impressive.

Great Guitar
It's hard to believe I purchased this guitar almost 3 years ago. It still feels new although it has gotten even better as it has worn in. I have the Plus version with a AA top and gold hardware. I think the top is just as pretty as most Standards. The Modern Classics p/u's might not sound quite as vintage as Burst Buckers but they make up for it in versatility. Mine weighs 10lbs on the bathroom scale and has a fat 50's neck. When you strap it on, you know you're holding a mean machine. I love my Strat too, but I hardly play it since I've gotten the LP. If you only play jazz, classic rock or blues you might want to pay a little more fore a Standard. But if you play a wide variety of styles including metal, I suggest the Studio.

AN ALMOST DIVINE PIECE OF WORK
I just started my music "career" and I only have about a year and a half worth of music experience. But let me assure you, that when I picked the Studio up, plugged it into my Blues Junior, and started playing...I could tell that this guitar was WAY more than its price tag.
Coming out of an overdriven tube amp, this guitar rocks the house! The tone and sustain it has is near magical, and the crunchful attack it has when rocking is powerful. The action was perfect, and despite what other people think...the weight is awesome. It may weigh more than most guitars, but LPs aren't supposed to be thrown around...show some respect! They are the mantle of true rock and roll.
The Gibson Les Paul studio is overall, the greatest and I guarantee you, will have no regrets in purchasing this! Just make sure to run it through a tube amp to achieve its divine tone.

Almost perfect
I have had my Gibson LP studio for about a year. I have played several other guitars and this is one the best i have ever played. The strings are pretty close to the fret board making it easy to hit the notes you want. The pick-ups are good but somtimes the sound can interfere with what you may want to play. All in all the Gibson LP Studio is a great guitar that anyone who buys one will use and love every day of their lives.
