Product Information

All the famous Les Paul ingredients at a fraction of the cost.

The arrival of the Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar in 1983 offered guitarists all the essential elements of a Les Paul Standard, including a carved top and humbucking pickups. Its simple yet elegant design quickly helped it become the most popular model in the Les Paul Series. Cutting-yet-rich tone—the hallmark of the Les Paul—pours out of the 490R and 498T Alnico II magnet humbucker pickups, which are mounted on a carved maple top with a mahogany back. The faded finish models are equipped with BurstBucker Pro pickups and a mahogany top. The Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar includes a Gibson hardshell case (Faded and satin finish models come with a gig bag) and a limited lifetime warranty.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

NEW REVIEW - best guitar ive ever owned

I've been playing guitar for a year now and it may seem strange that I have a gibson LP, but this thing is awsome and it doesn't matter how long ive been taking lessons because ive played violin for 6 years and drums for 1, but i stopped drums. I just want to say this sweet baby wails like crazy and is so soft when it comes to light music!!!!! I have the Faded cherry and have to say this is the best guitar ive ever owned!!!!! I've had a Fender Strat and an Ibanez RG!!!!!!!! This guitar tops them all!!!!

NEW REVIEW - Well made, GREAT sound and the experts agree!

I definitely recommend this guitar to anyone looking for an affordable, well made, REAL Gibson LP. I've had the pleasure of owning the Studio (Cherry Mahogany) for about 18 months now. I loved this thing straight out of the box but after I started to play more I felt like something was wrong. I took it in to a guitar tech that has been repairing guitars and doing tune ups for 40 years. Immediately he starting raving about how well made the thing was and how good the tone was. Turns out my problem was from plain ignorance. I had been using a gauge that was way too light (LP's are usually set up for about a .10 gauge at the lightest). After stringing it up again I really heard what I knew this bad boy could do. And now that I've got my tube amp decked out this baby WAILS!

NEW REVIEW - Great Guitar

I've been playing a long time and have always wanted a Gibson Les Paul. I finally have one. I've been looking and comparing models for several years and waiting for a deal and my first choice finally came up. I purchased a wine red Studio with gold hardware. This is a beutiful guitar. The quality and craftmanship is obvious. The case is also a cut above. I had it setup to my liking and it plays like a dream. Action and intonation are dead-on. The sustain and tone are amazing. Sure I'd prefer a LP Standard or Custom. However, I've tried them all and the Studio is 95% of the guitar for a fraction of the price. You can't go wrong with this guitar.

NEW REVIEW - Best for the price by far

I have had this baby for a couple years now and she has never let me down. Its my guitar of choice on stage and it sounds absolutely amazing. I had an issue with the straplocks I put on it, so I had to play my old epiphone les paul custom for a couple of weeks and when I picked this thing up again the difference in sound quality was unbelievable. For the price, don't pass these up if you are looking for a new guitar, they are great for every kind of music especially alternative rock.

NEW REVIEW - newborn fireburst

This was my 1st Les paul guitar. I couldn't afford the standard at the time and I'm glad I couldn't. I saw this as it 1st came in to guitar center and I did a little play-n-feel. Took it home and it was like a new born to me. I decided to add a bigsby gold end piece to it. I am well pleased with the sound, feel and the option of vibrato. As with all newborns,, you have to teach it and it will teach you . I got the gold fireburst and it is still "flaming" to this day.
