Product Information

All the famous Les Paul ingredients at a fraction of the cost.

The arrival of the Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar in 1983 offered guitarists all the essential elements of a Les Paul Standard, including a carved top and humbucking pickups. Its simple yet elegant design quickly helped it become the most popular model in the Les Paul Series. Cutting-yet-rich tone—the hallmark of the Les Paul—pours out of the 490R and 498T Alnico II magnet humbucker pickups, which are mounted on a carved maple top with a mahogany back. The faded finish models are equipped with BurstBucker Pro pickups and a mahogany top. The Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar includes a Gibson hardshell case (Faded and satin finish models come with a gig bag) and a limited lifetime warranty.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

NEW REVIEW - All Les Paul, Fraction of the Price!

This guitar rocks something fierce!!! It is everything we have come to love and expect from a Les Paul, and it's affordable. It has a great neck that feels just right, not too thin and not too thick and an action to match. The pick-ups give any type of tone from crystal cleans to roaring overdrive and biting distortion. It has the classic "rock-look" that the Les Paul has corner-stoned! Amazing guitar, amazing price!!!

NEW REVIEW - Well made, GREAT sound and the experts agree!

I definitely recommend this guitar to anyone looking for an affordable, well made, REAL Gibson LP. I've had the pleasure of owning the Studio (Cherry Mahogany) for about 18 months now. I loved this thing straight out of the box but after I started to play more I felt like something was wrong. I took it in to a guitar tech that has been repairing guitars and doing tune ups for 40 years. Immediately he starting raving about how well made the thing was and how good the tone was. Turns out my problem was from plain ignorance. I had been using a gauge that was way too light (LP's are usually set up for about a .10 gauge at the lightest). After stringing it up again I really heard what I knew this bad boy could do. And now that I've got my tube amp decked out this baby WAILS!

ALL PAUL

This axe is the real deal. If you want Les Paul feel, playability, features, and tone, this is the one that won't break the bank. Mine arrived in excellent condition, not a thing wrong, and even a decent "everyman" set-up, which I proceeded to dial in to my taste. Great Canadian made black faux snakeskin hardshell. I've been playing guitar over 30 years, own 40+ guitars, and I find this Les Paul version VERY impressive.

Great Guitar

It's hard to believe I purchased this guitar almost 3 years ago. It still feels new although it has gotten even better as it has worn in. I have the Plus version with a AA top and gold hardware. I think the top is just as pretty as most Standards. The Modern Classics p/u's might not sound quite as vintage as Burst Buckers but they make up for it in versatility. Mine weighs 10lbs on the bathroom scale and has a fat 50's neck. When you strap it on, you know you're holding a mean machine. I love my Strat too, but I hardly play it since I've gotten the LP. If you only play jazz, classic rock or blues you might want to pay a little more fore a Standard. But if you play a wide variety of styles including metal, I suggest the Studio.
