Product Information

All the famous Les Paul ingredients at a fraction of the cost.

The arrival of the Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar in 1983 offered guitarists all the essential elements of a Les Paul Standard, including a carved top and humbucking pickups. Its simple yet elegant design quickly helped it become the most popular model in the Les Paul Series. Cutting-yet-rich tone—the hallmark of the Les Paul—pours out of the 490R and 498T Alnico II magnet humbucker pickups, which are mounted on a carved maple top with a mahogany back. The faded finish models are equipped with BurstBucker Pro pickups and a mahogany top. The Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar includes a Gibson hardshell case (Faded and satin finish models come with a gig bag) and a limited lifetime warranty.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

NEW REVIEW - Sweet Axe

This guitar is awsome, Ive had mine for 2 weeks and can't put it down! I like the way it fits in my hands The feel is almost perfect. The strings are just the right height. might needed no adjustments, the Burstbucker pups really make it sing! I also have a strat and a LP Custom but this guitar is becoming my favorite. Theres nothing fancy about these Faded LPs but there well worth the money!!!

NEW REVIEW - Check One Out For Sure!

I purchased one of these at my nearest Guitar Center, mine being wine red with gold hardware. The pics on the website appear to not show that this color is actually transparent and GORGEOUS in person. My guitar came out of the box with horrible set-up, with a backbowed neck. I have loosened the truss rod and now the guitar plays well. This is my second Gibson, my first being one of the cheap melody makers (sweet guitar too). The pickups in this thing are awesome, and are the same ones that come in the LP Customs and SG Standard! If you have been thinking about a Les Paul, seriously, check one of these out in person! I think you will be surprised at the rich, full tone, and sweet crunch this guitar produces. If this thing holds up like my strats, I will love this guitar forever. Also, the limited lifetime warranty seems re-assuring, but I have not dealt with warranty issues before so cannot state if the warranty really is useful.

NEW REVIEW - Good Value

I bought the Gibson Les Paul Studio, in faded brown, a couple of months ago and am pleased, thus far. I chose the faded brown because of the unpretentious look. In the early 1970s I owned a 1957 Les Paul TV Model, and this Studio does not have quite the "bite" as the TV Model, but is a little more versatile. The frets are a little high, but with continued play, hopefully they will shallow out. Like anything man-made, there will be variations between instruments, but I have conficence in Gibson's quality control. This Studio is a good value for the money. A quality Gibson for under $1,000.

NEW REVIEW - Don't make em like they used 2

I tried several LP Studio's at GC in KC - and the quality was extremely poor compared to one that I bought about 15 years ago. The parts were cheap, the fretboards suffered from fret-rub worse than any guitar I ever played. I love Gibson Les Paul guitars....but I had to spend almost twice what I intended to get the quality and sound I was looking for. I bought a Gibson LP Deluxe which I instantly fell in love with. I would definitely try it before you buy it.

ALL PAUL

This axe is the real deal. If you want Les Paul feel, playability, features, and tone, this is the one that won't break the bank. Mine arrived in excellent condition, not a thing wrong, and even a decent "everyman" set-up, which I proceeded to dial in to my taste. Great Canadian made black faux snakeskin hardshell. I've been playing guitar over 30 years, own 40+ guitars, and I find this Les Paul version VERY impressive.
