The Gibson Brite wires are great strings, the tone stays great since the day you put them on, I use them on my Gibson SG and my fender strat, even though the name says gibson, these strings will add life to any guitar!!!!!!!!

These are just like Erinie Ball Regulars, but...

All I play are Ernie Ball Regualr slinky's, but I decided to give these a try. They seemed exactly the same, but more expensive. I actually didn't feel or hear a difference between the two. But, one day as I was tuning my guitar, my high E string broke and whipped my hand. This has NEVER happend with Ernie Ball. I'm super rich, so I usually keep my strings on a few months before changing them. I think all your paying for is the name. Although I'm giving this a 4 star, I'm sticking with Ernie Ball, since they're cheaper and sound really similar!

Awesome strings, but upset with guitar center

First let me say that these strings are awesome (good job Gibson), but the method of shipping that they those to send these to me was absolutely unacceptable. You don't put strings in a flimsy paper package because of the danger of bending. You should know better.

Friekin' sweet! Must Buy!!!!!

Okay, I play guitar and I have always been annoyed by the lifetime of my strings. I have tried many differant brands, of them DA'darrio, Ernie Ball (regular and just about everything else) my strings usually last about 1-1,1/2 weeks. I was usin Ernie Ball Regulars. They would be rusted within one or two days, and would break at be broken within one to two weeks. One day, when my friend and I were jamming, my strings broke and I didnt have an extra pair on me :(. My friend passed me a pair of Gibson Brites. I put them on and they sounded awesome. Within one week they rusted and in one month they broke. I was amazed! So I ordered another pair and I got the same results. This things are sweet! Perfect for anyone whoo gigs or just chills and plays
