NEW REVIEW - what a guitar

i was drawn to this guitar for two reasons, the first being the sheer power and presence it has when it is played. the second is beacuse Robb flynn of Machine head plays this guitar, it truly is and incredible instrument whether it is downtuned and heavily distorted or playing an old classic it has the most wonderful sound. A truly brilliant instrument and a must have for any musician.

A great guitar...

I've owned my Gibson Flying V for about 8 months, and I love it. The only thing about it that I would change about it is that I would add a few more frets on the fret board. Other than that, this guitar plays beautifully and sounds even better.

worth every penny....a must for any collector

Having received my V for Xmas, needless to say i was excited...Upon playing the V, Icouldn't believe the fat crunchy tone it had....Recently Michael Schenker was asked why he played a flying V... He said he broke a string on his other guitar, so his brother(Rudolph) handed him his V...Once he heard the tone, he knew this was the guitar for him.....Not only does it sound great, but it simply commands a presence..I have seven other hi-dollar guitars and I haven't played them since...

This sweetheart of an axe is absolutely what every guitar player needs in their arsenal! From rock to blues, it delivers all exquisitely! The slim neck and body design lets your fingers fly! The pickups scream like a stealth bomber doing a fly by! Make no mistake about it, this is an axe you will definitely love! Go get your wing!

Sweet guitar

I got my Flying V because Rudolph Schenker of the Scorpions plays it, and it rocks. I've had it for about 5 months. It's really easy to play (and you can play it sitting down easily too-most people think that it doesn't work). I had mine upgraded in a custom shop and I put in a Floyd Rose, and it rocks! Great guitar.
