The faded finish gives it the look of a seasoned performer.

The Gibson Faded Flying V was born to rock. When the original V came out in '58, it was ahead of its time. When it was reissued 9 years later, it became a favorite of progressive rockers and still is to this day. This Faded Flying V has all the features and specs of the '67 model and the look of a guitar that has been loved and cared for since those early days. • awesome axe at great price

As reviewed by eric on 6/19/2007

the gibson faded flying v is probably the best guitar under 1000 dollars that i have ever played. not only does it look awesome it sounds great. this guitar has great action, sustains practically forever, and every string is crunchy when palm muted. but this guitar today you will not regret it

  • GIBSON!!!!!!

As reviewed by CODY on 11/2/2009

Amazing guitar sounds and plays like a dream i give it 4 stars because of the strap buttons there very small and i highly recomend getting strap locks because the first day i got this guitar the straps came of and it fell right to the floor and broke 2 of the tunning keys but to my suprise the 4 other strings were still in tune!!! (thats how you know its gibson) but i had a warrenty so its all good, but all in all very worth the money you get what you pay for.

  • just plain amazing

As reviewed by next.morello on 3/6/2008

This guitar is by far the best for the price. It's the best for prices above it too. The faded finish is far more comfortable than the MUCH more expensive nitrocellulose finishes that gibson offers, and is much less high-maintenance, there'll be no smudging on THIS one! The pickups are superb, gibson's hottest. My only problem with them is having to turn the tone way down to play things such as Rage Against because they are so powerful! The tuners hold tune very well, and are the famous gibson shape which I personally love. Overall, this is an extremely good-looking guitar that plays like a dream.
